Personally I'd rather kick myself in the face than have to try and tackle retro-fitting that sequential system, but I suppose with enough patience, skill and money anything is possible.

I think most decide against it for the same reason the majority of people decide against putting a big turbo on an NA. It's more cost effective to use the TT engine. However, if you think you know different then go for it.

The TT engine has quite a few features the NA engine doesn't. Have a search for the differences between the two and all will be revealed.

I wouldn't want a cheap fibreglass bonnet ever again, regardless of fit. More hassle than its worth IMO. Mod the stock bonnet instead.

If it's been looked after it should last a very long time indeed. I'd expect 200k miles with minimal fuss. Welcome, by the way
