It's definitely worth travelling to find someone who knows what they're doing with the PFC and the Supra. Speak to Ryan.G on here then take a trip up the M3 to Surrey Rolling Road, and get him to remap it there

That isn't what you said, and I can't find anything in the highway code to back that up. However, there was the case of the old lady driving at 40mph in the outside lane who got prosecuted, but I can't remember what for. If you can't drive under 40mph on motorways then pretty much the whole of the M25 is illegal for most of every day

Twice I've been in mkiv Golfs (once driving, once a passenger) when overtaken by older women way north of 120mph. The lady in the pink Mercedes on the autobahn was simply hilarious - my mate was bouncing his modded GTI turbo off the rev limiter in top gear and she sailed by like we were going backwards. They're nutters!

IMHO the buying price doesn't matter all that much - mere mortals will be priced out of owning a mkiv LONG before the price starts to shoot up again. Insurance, fuel costs and VED will all increase massively for such an obviously old-fashioned car.
