  1. Lambo doesn't count - you can't buy it new
  2. After an interesting discussion in the office this morning I thought I'd ask the question on here too. Which supercar would you have from the following list, and why? Ferarri 458 Italia http://cdn.slashgear.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/ferrari_458_italia_1.jpg McLaren MP4-12C Noble M600 http://www.evo-me.com/images/front_picture_library_United_Arab_Emirates/dir_11/car_photo_5722_7.jpg Porsche 911 GT2 RS Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 http://www.egmcartech.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/2011_porsche_911_gt3_rs_4_video_main.jpg Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG
  3. I think if I had to have one (not a huge fan myself) it would have to be an LS-powered one. For me that makes the most sense.
  4. Slowest FD3S on earth? Well, apart from all the ones with blown-up engines.
  5. I've tweaked the thread title so it can be searched for by other members who have such ridiculous ideas
  6. It's not all about the figures, it's the delivery that counts.
  7. It really wouldn't be that great IMO.
  8. Loads of firms do it mate - Sky certainly do. The guy can't put his foot in your door like that though. I'd be complaining ASAP if I were you.
  9. You let him in your house?! Have a walk around your streets - they'll be covering a certain area and there will be more of them. Find out the firm they work for and complain direct. He won't be an SSE employee - he'll be employed by a third party firm. He'll get fired for that if they're doing their work properly.
  10. It has to be verified by Guiness though. If none of the owners of other cars that have done it can be bothered to go through the application procedure then I think it's fair enough. After all, it can't be a Guiness world record if no-one tells Guiness!

    Bmw 1m

Yeah, clever CGI isn't it? The car does handle well. VERY well. It sounds good too, but it's just not quite as good as M cars should be. It does like wild angles though

It isn't as involving to drive as a real M car. I'd save my cash and plump another few £k for a Cayman R. Oh, and both of those ads are CGI heaven
  13. That was an awful thread title. I've changed it to something more descriptive to make it easier to search for.
  14. 3" should be fine but I'd go for 4" because you'll get bored at some point
  15. I've changed your thread title to something a bit more descriptive to make it easier for members to find this thread when searching
  16. it is slow, but made up for that with some genuinely terrifying moments. We hit 17 knots at one point, which apparently is pretty rapid for a J109. We completed the race in 7:15, but it felt a lot longer at some points. The washing machine around the Needles kept us awake - huge and unpredicable seas. It was pretty bad weather this year, which is why there were so many casualties and drop-outs.
  17. Mate, it was ROUGH. One bloke on our boat spent four hours throwing up
  18. I did the Round the Island race on Saturday. It was my first time sailing, and what an absolute baptism of fire. My body is a total mess. I'm battered, bruised and burnt but it was a hell of a way to spend a Saturday. Several near-death experiences were had by everyone on my boat - I wish I was joking about that but the conditions were fairly extreme. 1908 boats started and only 1302 finished, with several men overboard and several boats capsized. Here are some pics taken of us out there on the water. Thanks to Antony Jones/Mark Lloyd images for the shots. Our helmsman was Nick Dempsey - a world champion wind surfer Apparently this bird is famous? She was on one of our sister boats.
  19. Dude that's terrible news. Hope you get it sorted mate. Going through insurance?
  20. It's best to steer clear of situations like that.
  21. And on that note I'm locking this as it's going nowhere.
  22. How's this for inspirational? F4cYcdDMl8s
  23. This must be the best thread title we've ever had.
