  1. It's nice, but that is a LOT of cash for a '94.
  2. The number of sightings the media reports upon has definitely gone up. Whether or not the frequency of 'real' encounters has too is anyone's guess
  3. I think the number of sightings of UFOs hasn't actually gone up, but the amount of people reporting on them - and believing the reports - has.
  4. Erm... the first pic is an illustration of the internet. Anyway, I've got a tin foil hat and I believe, man.
  5. Saw this at Goodwood. It sounds mental
  6. Not raced it yet, no. Just testing at the mo. I'm going slow to go fast! Hoping to slot some in this year and with luck a full season next.
  7. I absolutely LOVE it. More than I ever imagined I would. Had a bit of an incident at Silverstone with a Formula Renault on my first outing, coming together in Brooklands (he said afterwards he didn't think it was my fault - he was behind another Renault that I let past and dove for a gap that wasn't there), but I learnt a hell of a lot that day and managed to get the car fixed for the afternoon session. Enjoyed every second.
  8. Yep, hence the V8 comment. I'm dying to have a go in the Atom V8. Always fancied a go in the Chevy smallblock Caterfield things people build from time-to-time too. I'll be honest though, since I've started testing with my single-seater I don't think road cars are ever going to seem the same ever again
  9. Whenever I watch a video like this I'm sending all of my mind bullets to your speedo to get that needle to carry on rising towards stratospheric speeds Looks like a rapid car mate. You must be over the moon with it.
  10. Been all over the motoring press for ages: http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2011/mar/30/tesla-sue-top-gear
  11. I have to say the R8 is not in the same league as the other two. It's FAR too expensive and doesn't feel special at all IMHO
  12. You'll find the GT-R isn't all that reliable either. It also doesn't look as good, isn't as nice to drive, doesn't sound as nice and doesn't have as nice an interior.
  13. *easily* the best post in this thread and an honest contender for post of the year.

I've yet to see a proven 500bhp on the stock turbos. For a reliable 500bhp I'd be looking at a small single turbo like the smaller PHR kits. The '+' refers to extra bits done on top of BPU mods - for instance a replacement ECU or cams.

£531 is a good price. The turbo question is a VERY complex question though. What do you want from the car? Are you aware that it isn't just a case of bolting on a big turbo? You'll need a lot of supporting mods and around £10k.
  17. The F430 is a better drive IMO. It's a more refined machine, and as with any decent Ferrari the chassis is just beautiful. You can't argue with that engine note either. The Lambo is more extroverted, and the louder paint and interiors may appeal to some (not me though!). Also, 4WD means it could be seen as more practical. However, when will you be driving the car? In the snow and driving rain, or on sunny days when you can really enjoy it? They're two very different beasts, and I'd be tempted to say the Fezza is the real driver's car here. Get yourself one of these 'experience' days at a track and bag yourself a good test drive
  18. The only reason I could see the paint affecting the performance of the intercooler would be paint 'bunching up' at the corners between the fins, which would obviously stop air getting through where it could beforehand. However, this will be such a small net effect that's it is probably negligable. So basically, ignore me.
  19. I want to see someone put one in something so light you can lift two wheels off the floor with one hand. A kit car type thing. Basically, I want mental speed. I'd probably go for a V8 though if I were serious about it.
  20. Aren't intercoolers usually already silver?
