  1. Bike plates don't lock down though do they?
  2. The traffic coppers I asked thought it was a great idea as long as it stayed down on the road. Why wouldn't they? My FMIC (and the rad behind it) got more than enough air. My AITs were fine, as was my water temperature.
  3. Why? It was always kept locked down on the road and raised for motorsport
  4. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=sup
  5. It also says it must be fixed at a solid, upright angle on the most forward part of the car though... if I were doing it again I'd do what I did with my stock bumper. Have holes in there but keep it in the car and say it fell off. Like I said, you take your chances. You might never get pulled over, or you may find the copper with a bee in his bonnet who wants to throw the book at you. Depends on a million things. I ran with a vinyl plate for a while, but decided against it after a few mates got pulled.
  6. I wouldn't worry my friend - she was always nice and clean. The car was too actually.
  7. My solution: RJhW-bQX-KY Built from parts from an MR2. Before you ask, it was many years ago now and I'd have no idea how to do it again
  8. I know the law about them: they're illegal. You might be OK with them or you might get pulled over the minute you leave your drive. Pot luck really but I got rid of mine and fitted a better solution for that exact reason.
  9. Depends how much power you've got. I have nothing else to add other than that as I've moaned enough for one day.
  10. I have no idea but I've amended the title to save you embarassment at the hands of Scott M other members.
  11. That is the nature of the concept car though. Happens all the time. They're design studies, nothing more.
  12. 94bhp air-cooled 1.3-litre VW Beetle engine Oh, and 475kgs including your average driver. Laps around the same time as a 911... I'll be competing in it next year if I can get the cash together.
  13. As far as I know that picture is of the concept model rather than the production version.
  14. Scion is Toyota's sub-brand in the USA. Not coming here.
  15. Haha - nope, I've been lucky so far in that stretch! No wife or kids to drain my meagre funds. My latest pet project is in my garage
  16. Honda hasn't confirmed it will build that car yet. It's on a mission to recreate the NSX, but it sounds compromised to me. Subaru supplied engine tech for the '86 project, with Toyota's D4-D direct injection system. AFAIK the chassis was built by Toyota, although I have Mr T's press release in front of me and it isn't exactly clear.
  17. And there we have the crux of the problem. It couldn't look like the concept anyway since the front was too low to conform to crash regulations. I really like it and can't wait to ruin some tyres in it.
  18. I don't get these comments. I think the Hyundai Coupe is a great looking car if you forget the dynamics of the chassis and the badge. One of the better-looking motors in that price range, that's for sure.
  19. Don't feel bad, I was only trying to calculate the hot dinner height/weight ratio and lacked the third parameter. All sorted now.
  20. But Scott... the question is: how tall are you?
