  1. Miko Im not sure of the propshaft adjustment on the Na but usually there are shims available to go under the centre mount bearing, and also you have to make sure the propshaft is perfectly in line with the transmission.. it would be an idea to get a professional propshaft company to align it but I have used a laser aligner before to align a propshaft and it worked a treat. (get the laser line and mark it from the centre of the diff casing to the output shaft on the gearbox..Then mark using a white paint pen or similiar some 'marker points' along the way so that you can align the propshaft centrally. Then check for the correct angle for the propshaft sections. This is where you need to shim the centre mount bearing if shims are available for your car... If theyre not...washers will do You should really take simba supras diagram along to http://www.propshaft.co.uk and they will sort it out. They are excellent and have all the required kit
  2. The NA DOES have a MAF. Mass Air Flow meter or sensor and most NA cars have them..... A MAP is a manifold absolute pressure sensor and is used on turbo cars including the Supra TT.
  3. They ought to.......theyre a bunch of bandits
  4. Cheers Tony Appreciate the offer, I was enquiring regarding if anyone had a Cad drawing ready done so to speak because I can get it laser cut 'through a mate' and it saves me having to pay out more to the machine shop. (I am from 'yarkshire' after all ) A machine shop will be doing any machining/honing on the engine though...I know my equipments limits If you end up with a drawing before I've done one then I would be most appreciative of a copy. No need to do it specially though mate. I can draw it up but thanks for the offer
  5. If you have a CAD drawing and you would be good enough to share it with me (pm is fine)... it would be appreciated before I start to draw my own up... thanks
  6. Sounds to me like if they are a dodgy small outfit then they may not have a formal contract for customers? Just a guess but if so then the law will definately fall in your favour going on past precedents I would guess..... As in...you paid them to deliver YOUR property and due to no fault of your own, they failed on that agreement due to a financial argument with their suppliers.
  7. Tricky one here but I would guess technically the parcels are under their jurisdiction but only under authority from the small 3rd party courier..legally they cannot hold on to them indefinately...as that would amount to theft. UNLESS this becomes a criminal investigation in which case they could become evidence and can then be held by the coppers until they decide they will let them go (after a court case basically and then some....) I would suggest your best bet is to get a solicitor to write a snotter letter demanding release of the parcels as it is 'of detriment' to your livelihood or similar
  8. I read this story and have to say its VERY impressive Actually its ballpoint pens he uses...but still Link
  9. Bellhousing - £250 ~ Flywheel - £150 ~
  10. Yes, you can use the R154 box on the 2jz motor but you need a 1JZ bellhousing, flywheel and clutch. R154 is good for 600rwhp then needs a thrust washer oiling solution (weak link). Apart from that its a very solid box.Especially if you look to sort the thrust washer first. They cost about £150 as opposed to the Getrag V160 which is about £1500+ if you can find one... The Getrag V160 can handle massive hp allegedly
  11. What are you planning to use for a torque plate TLicense? Im currently doing a rebuild (2jz gte) and am thinking of having one made? Unless anyone has one to hire here on the forum?
  12. I was going to say 4/10 of an inch?? I think Im going to be getting some serious blowby on my engine build if the machine shop cant do better than that

    speeding advice

I agree, everyones likes to preach until they are wearing the same shoes I would advise visiting Here and seeing what the forums advise for you. good luck, if you can re enforce that you were 'safe' at that speed and need your car for work you 'might' escape a ban
  14. Jeremy Beadle has requested his remains be recycled into compost and scattered on his garden ... ITV sources say he could be back in the early autumn with a new series. "watch out Beadles a sprout! " I got that in a text message>!! sickos i tell you
  15. Unlucky mate Thats why I always pay cash unless its somewhere I really trust. So many scammers about its just not funny!
  16. Hostel 2 is worth watching Hot Fuzz is just excellent
  17. Im never gonna die so I dont worry This kids Dad was a fool to give him a brand new M5 to drive in....
  18. Hmm. I once borrowed am 8cfm (iirc) compressor (nearly new condition) and it wouldnt take a tough nut off a coilover, although to be fair the air requirements of the impact gun were about 7cfm I think. It did ...eventually.....get it off after several waits for the air tank to refill, but thats where my scepticism came from and you have pm
  19. Thanks for the heads up on this Chris. Impact wrench it is. Now I just need to find a 12cfm+ compressor (ideally 15+) so it doesnt make that 'fluffy' sound an air tool makes when it is gasping for breath Thanks again
  20. Thanks Chris. Can you confirm what you are using to lock the crank whilst using the impact gun to undo the bolt please? As to putting the new bolt on (I assume they are stretch bolts for one use?) Ive got access to a 500ft lbs torque wrench so I should be ok, again provided I can make or buy a suitable locking tool..
