  1. only decided to look around after Adrian Flux decided to try and shaft me with the renewal price
  2. Very nice surprise this year with the Insurance, mods declared and my missus as a named driver who is 23................£787 fully comp cant complain at that. Debating on a RWD conversion after the wedding is out the way along with a set of coil overs and a LSD, drops about 75lbs from the front end.
  3. Was custom paint metallic black with 5 purple pearls over the top, got different shades of purple/blue depending on the light and looked black at times.
  4. I run a xoom and had no problems at all with it even use it as a full satnav, the xoom 2 is now available. Plus motocast is pretty handy on it also http://www.motorola.com/Consumers/GB-EN/Consumer-Products-and-Services/ANDROID-TABLETS/MOTOROLA-XOOM-2-GB-EN
  5. very nice it's about time something else was available sick to death of seeing TRD
  6. shall see you's at the JNE meet normally have a dodge down for a hour or so
  7. Nice to see something different from the norm
  8. have you tried these http://www.burnsstainless.com/, ran one of these a while back nicely made and serviceable
  9. The engine went pop in it not long after I got the car, did have plans to do a transplant but due to work just don't have the time. The car is stripped to a bare shell now, had it up for sale for quite some time. Here's the specs on the XX http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celica_xx
  10. Welcome, I have the Jsec version the Celica XX 2.0 Turbo lying in bits down our factory. Have the seats out of mine but I'm not too sure on the condition of them as they have been in storage for about 2 years, our mechanic is out at the min but when he gets back he is going to have a check on them. But they are from a right hooker Sorry only pic I have showing the seats
  11. Sorry mate had a word there and the units on the new yard have people already lined up for them
  12. Let me know how you get on with this may have some space available in a few month time
  13. Very nice motor mate, would of been a black one for me too if I couldn't find a yellow manual one. Had mine for nearly 2 years now and still loving every minute of it. Had it remapped on the rollers, cost £400............ best money I have spent.
  14. Rather like that, love the shape of them
  15. woooooo there Jon, Davy might get the wrong idea with that. We also tried to fit him in the boot, but he's just too big even after a little persuasion by Timba
  16. got a few V8's kicking about if he wants to start fresh
  17. Of course still tickles me every time, as soon as I get in the car the other half gets a dig in the arm ha. The cage has been in about a year, its a stainless Tequipment bolt in from a 997, its there for Davy along with a roll of duct tape to attach him to it and gag him. Journeys with Davy are now peaceful.
  18. The spoiler was already fitted to the car when I got it its carbon, on the rams there is a small hole and the ram turns and releases the spoiler easy to remove. Here's a link to a place in the states you can also get them in FG http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-996-Turbo-GT2-Hydrolic-Bi-Wing-Spoiler-CARBON-FIBER-The-Best-Upgrade-/140668019020?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20c077a14c On the turbos, have a good look at the rads(3 of them) prone to going due to them being leaf collectors, check the spoiler rams for leaks (expensive to replace), waste gate actuators as they hang under the car and get alot of abuse from the weather and corrode/stick or get sloppy had to replace mine due to this. Other than that its the usual stuff leaks noises etc
  19. yeah going for a set of k16/k24 hybrids or k16g's ............................ after the wedding lol Aint got a clue Jamesy, got the manual speed yellow due to them being rare and I always wanted a yellow 911, going for a classic one after this tho. Only vid I have is on the rollers but it had blew a inter-cooler pipe off so it was running pretty flat
  20. cheers done a few little mods since, replaced the tired waste gate actuators with a pair of Forge adjustable, old ones couldn't handle the extra boost same with the diverters replaced with Forge again took the exhaust off and just running Fabspeed race cats and straight pipes 997 ST/ST Tequipment Rear Cage Samco Hoses ......... Yellow ofcourse lol and another remap running 500bhp and 560ftlb(at 3k) don't get me wrong these are quick cars already, but just these little mods has made so much difference.
  21. ain't been on for a while few recent pics:
  22. got it too awesome game, weapon mods are quite cool. Not a long game as said but its fun all the way
  23. sure its mkiii fly wheel bolts you need, had the same problem when I fitted mine
