    Bmw

I used to own a 330ci , I used to get about 18-22mpg. The cars are very good but the dealers are poor.
  5. No problem, it can be a pain to use sometimes (constant refreshing seems to work!!) but its usually a nightmare in the morning. In the afternoon or evening seems to work fine.
  6. Here is a link to a site I use, http://www.tranexp.com:2000/Translate/result.shtml
  7. I have a pair for £60 with subframes and electrics all working, might be a bit far away though as i'm in Milton Keynes, but they are available if you want them. cheers Ian
  8. good idea, but how long would it take to prove you had a genuine accident and were not incompetent? I could imagine every insurer using it to slow down every claim. The tyre blowing at high speed for example, What if the insurer claimed you couldnt have had the tyres at the correct psi and therefore were incompetent. but i do like the general idea

    Drugs in sport

I say put in tougher controls, afterall we have a duty to the next generation. If athlete's are all taking performance enhancing drugs, then by default all the young talented kids who want a career in athletics will have to take drugs to compete.
  10. Also worthwhile using this site, they generally beat the hire companies own website quotes. http://www.autoreservation.com
  11. I agree with Jake, I had no problem going into Natwest where I worked and drawing out a Bankers draft, done within 20 mins, I think the only other thing they had to do was ring my branch.
  12. As above , the bank wont help that much, unless they think they can sell you something. Check out this site it has a really comprehensive budget planner. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/viewnews.cgi?newsid1089226742,17582,
  13. No that wasnt me I sold it a while back to a member, I think he has now got it up for sale.
  14. I do dont I!! next i'll be enjoying my VAT bill
  15. I see a rerun of top gear last night , where Clarkson raced back from Italy in the Buggati against the other two in a light aeroplane. On the show Clarkson states that the Buggati costs £5 million to make each car, so as my missus is always telling me about what a bargain the shoes she bought in the sale were, I think I could justify the Bugatti as its 80% off.
  16. Got my tax recently via the internet, what a breeze, no long post office queues..
  17. For insurance purposes you will need to have an installation certificate to prove it is a CAT 1.
  18. Same as the majority of comments for me, excellent service, excellent work, a really nice team of people, I wouldnt use anyone else...
  19. If it was a choice between a Porsche and a Supra and I had the same amount to spend on either then the Supra would win it. But if I was going to spend more on a car then I'd pick the Porsche.
  20. I dont think its just a Supra thing though, all used cars seem to depreciate really badly now. Even the normal stuff like Golfs which always seemed to hold great value are slipping drastically. I would guess its due to the number of new cars sold and the various finance deals that make it incredibly cheap to get into these cars. On the plus side the Supra is a classic and the people buying cheap ones are not going to look after them properly! so overtime the price of good examples may appreciate....
  21. I got mine cut at Timpsons, they didnt have one in stock, but the guy ordered one and it came within a couple of days.
  22. my wife drives the Sup more then me! and the only thing I would ever be worried about would be her safety, but as she is a very cautious driver (and much safer then me) her and the Sup are fine.
  23. my condolences to the family, in this difficult time.
  24. Does anyone have any experience of these, I'm thinking about getting one. Mainly concerned about reliabilty issues, I know the older ones can be a nightmare! any thoughts appreciated Ian
