  9. Good morning fellow Supra types, is anyone going to the Le Mans 24 hours this weekend? Im in a convoy of 3 Supras (and an MR2[sHOCK][/sHOCK]) If you are, we will be at the Cafe Hondures on the Mulsanne straight Friday nite around midnight. Its the last chance to be on it before they re-close it for the Saturday off.

    First outing

Just been to my first meet at Bluewater. Thanks for being gentle with me. Thought I had a cool car until I saw some of yours, now im depressed and want wings wheels skirts etc..THANKS !!! one thing I noticed though, Supra owners are far more refined than GTO owners, we are well bread what-what ?
  11. Also ! I bought a new speed sensor from Toyota for £68, fitted it but the problem persisted so I took it back and they refunded me. Just realised I can edit without having to do another reply, i'll soon get the hang of it....i'm new !!
  12. When the lights come on, try whacking the top of the dash just above the odometer. If the lights go out when you whack it, you may have a simple fault with the wires which connect the odo to the sensor. I took my delimiter off ( it was wired to the speed sensor on the gearbox ) which helped a bit but the warning lights still come on but go off after whacking it. I'll get round to sorting it out soon.
  13. Im a 40 something year old virgin ( Supra meetings that is ) and new to the club. I will try to be at Bluewater Tuesday nite so look forward to seeing you guys...........Martin
  14. Why are you worried about MPG ?, my Dad worries about MPG and he drives a Rover !!!! Supra Mk1V's are simply trouser-burstingly fabulous cars, its what they look like and drive like thats important ( im on my 5th ). I am also a new member and have just paid £300 fully comp for a `94 aero including after market wheel ins. through Adrian Flux. You need a Cat.1 alarm for a better quote - they accept cat.2 and limited mileage. Give the car a regular oil and filter services, check and change the coolant regularly or fill with Toyota "for life" coolant. Find a specialist like "Supraman" Meopham Kent -01474815332- rather than Toyota main agents. These cars are VERY reliable.
