  1. I was waiting at the roundabout as you went past and waved. Great looking kit and loved your number plate - *** MR X
  2. I love it Think they look great in white!
  3. Very tidy with full veilside kit. You were just coming up to the roundabout near ASDA about 1:30pm. Anyone on here?
  4. Mine car came with Lexus branded metal pedals fixed on top of (well that's how it looks, I havent done a close inspection) of the original pedals.
  5. Hey guys, I'm gutted I missed it but just got back from a week in Corfu so I can't complain! A monthly meet is a great idea. Hope to see you then! Andy
  6. SoundWave

    Two today.

Ivan, saw you flash me this morning but I was concentrating on my brakes as they were sqeeking so was a bit slow waving back! Nath, was it your car parked on the road behind Poole quay sunday afternoon? If so, you've been spotted twice in two days!
  7. For the first time tonight the gear indicator light next to the gear stick lit up on mine, then went out after about 5 seconds never to come on again. I didn't know that was meant to light up!
  8. I'd like to come and meet some local faces but I am also going on holiday so wont be around on the weekends of the 16th or 23rd. Hope to catch up at the next one!
  9. It was a great turnout. Unfortunatly I was part of the small group that got lost on the way to the pub! Was a cool convoy though. Some very nice sounding exhausts. I turned back before getting to the pub as my girlfriend was getting tired and we had to get back to Bournemouth. Hope to see you guys again. Anyone else get worried for a minute when the blue lights of that ambulance came up behind us? For a moment I was thinking the worst - cops! Andy
  10. Hi guys, After meeting Ark at the Triton rolling road day he mentioned this meet. My girlfriend and I will be coming across from Bournemouth, leaving in an hour or so to have an afternoon in Southsea as she has enver been, bless. Hopefully we will be around until the evening when you guys meet up and hope to see you all there. Cheers, Andy
  11. Hope you saw me wave back. I was concentrating on the traffic jam! Don't think I have seen you around before (or it could just be my bad memory!) Just afterwards I saw Ivan heading the same way.
  12. Very nice but a big guage crazy!
  13. I was talking to Chris about fuel consumption and he said he gets about 300odd miles from a full tank (mostly motorway driving). I get about 200 miles from a tank (mostly town driving). I know town driving is worse but that is quite a big difference! Oxygen sensor cleaning may be required...
  14. Ok, here ya go, best I can do with my camera phone! Do note that the scale on the second graph is slightly different... My AFR seems to drop more gradually than yours but apart from that the curves all look pretty similar. http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/5765/02082006001webmk9.jpg http://img435.imageshack.us/img435/4613/02082006webjm9.jpg
  15. The Tom Tom Go units are very good all in one units. The 300 is the lowest spec of the old range. The lowest spec of the new range is the 510 and that is about £350 so £150 is a good price. You should be able to find some indepth reviews of it with a bit of help from Google. I have Tom Tom mobile on my phone which uses pretty much the same software and it is fantastic. Very clear and easy to use.
  16. My housemate used to have the 1210s Mk2 and they were spot on. I could see them lasting years. When I moved out of there I got some Vestax PDX-2000s and they are just as good as the Technics and have more features (reverse, adjustable start/stop speed, ultra-pitch) but they dont feel as well made. I also think they look a bit toy like but that is beside the point. As has already been mentioned, if you are ever going to play out in clubs then you are going to find 1210s...
  17. Assuming my graphs have arrived today as well, I'll try and post mine when I get home for you to compare. Mine also boosted to about 0.9bar and he said my fueling was looking good.
  18. I know your car was on the rollers for a bit longer than the others Ewen but it did seem to be revving a lot because it was very loud! Could of course just be due to your exhaust. My girlfriend actually got scared of it bless her!
  19. He did have trouble with mine to start with as the wheels had slipped and it had gone in to snow mode. After I showed him how to turn that and the traction control off it seemed ok. I did wonder why he ran it in 2nd gear as well. Maybe that was to minimise/stop kickdown..? I think the two graphs are for the same run - one shows the bhp at the fly and the other at the wheels. I could well be mistaken though!! I think he did clear the screen for yours as well as he did so many runs it was getting quite full! It was a hugh fan! Would like to nick that for use in the office on a hot day!
  20. Hi all, It was good to meet you guys. Very chuffed with my results of 317.2hp at the fly and 266hp at the wheels. Although the first run was 321hp, does that count? Hope to catch up with you guys again. I will try and make over to the Portsmouth meet in a couple of weeks. Cheers guys, Andy
  21. Well I called back and they said it should be fine so I will pop down tomorrow and see how it goes! I tried to do a quick test in manual mode tonight and I think it did keep it in the gear even when the revs were pretty low. Time will tell.
  22. Well I gave them a call and im not sure who it was I spoke to but he seemed reluctant to do the auto because of the kickdown. Im not sure if the manual mode will prevent this. Anyone know?
  23. Hi guys, Good news to hear they can do autos now. I will see if I can get booked in also.
