  1. Hi All, I managed to break my heater controls at the weekend while fitting a new headunit... Everything looks fine but they don't light up anymore and the fan doesnt work so i'm guessing the pcb inside has been damaged. My question is are the ones from a facelift the same as ones from a pre-facelift? (I have a facelift one) I also managed to stop the light on the traction control/snow mode switch from working and the backlight for the clock is now a bit iffy... doh! On the plus side, the new headunit sounds much better! Cheers, Andy
  2. Anyone got another one? I broke mine at the weekend too while fitting a new headunit... doh! Cheers, Andy
  3. Well i'm only guessing there should be a green headlights-on light. I do have the usual blue one for full beam.
  4. Last Thursday night around 1am. I think the number plate had WOW at the end. Anyone on here? Is this the same one I have seen parked in Parkstone? Is it also the one I waved to on Sunday near the uni? So many questions!!
  5. That spontaneously fix themselves? Since I have had the car (about 15 months now) I have had 3 different lights start working that didn't to start with. First I noticed that the "put your seatbelt on" light started to work and light up if I hadn't put my seatbelt on yet. Next, one night while driving home I noticed a glare coming from below and looked down to see the lights next to the gear leaver had lit up (I have an auto). These only stayed on for a few seconds initially but on a later journey came back on again and have worked ever since. Lastly, the little hazard-lights warning triangle in the middle of that button has started to work. This one keeps catching my eye as I sometimes forget it's now working and worry there is a red error light showing! So, a car that slowly fixes itself - fantastic! Now if only the green headlight light would work I think I would have a complete set!
  6. Yup I think it was. Are you local? Don't think I have seen you before.
  7. Hey guys, No it wasn't me. I haven't been over Southampton way for a couple of weeks now. Looking forward to seeing your beast Si!
  8. On Sunday around 1pm. I was walking along the high street and saw you stopped at the lights as the ambulance went by, then saw your car parked up a bit further on. Looked fairly stock apart from some nice alloys. Anyone on here?

    number plate

I also have a front number plate holder, pics in my garage. It was on when I bought the car and it says Blitz. From first look it seems like it can fold up out of sight at will, but sadly that is not the case!
  10. This morning just before 9 waiting at the traffic lights. I didn't notice you till I had almost gone past so apologies if you waved!
  11. Looks like it's going to be great, nice one!
  12. I also received mine today but am not allowed to open it until xmas as it's a present from the girlfriend! Now i'm wanting the day to come even faster Thanks again Peter
  13. Yes the mirror is hanging off by the wires! I just wasn't sure if there were electrical contacts that were touched to turn it off once it had rotated. I will take the card off at the weekend because I hope to have a replacement by then.
  14. I think it does but I don't want to do anything permanent until i'm sure!
  15. Found a good guide on here Cheers Andy
  16. That is a good question. I guess it involves taking the door card off which I haven't attempted before. I hopefully have a replacement coming so will be attempting that at the weekend. If its a quick-ish job then I will have a go before. Just going to do a search now...
  17. Well they are certainly strong little motors. I tried jamming a screwdriver against it (which wasn't that easy as it is broken) and it just kept on going! At the moment as soon as the key is turned it starts and so is on all the time I am driving. I'm worried about it burning out but I think the motor comes as part of a new mirror so hopefully it won't matter. It is just very annoying!
  18. Hi All, I'm after a folding wing mirror as mine got knocked off this morning and the attachment broke (the glass is fine). Preferably in white but anything would be good at the moment. I have asked Mr T about a new one but there are none in the UK and I'd prefer to have it sorted before Xmas. Help! Cheers, Andy
  19. Hi All, My wing mirror got knocked off this morning and, out of habit, when I stopped I pressed the button for them to fold in. Now the motor on the one that is broken won't stop. What is the fuse that governs them? I tried RAD NO 2 in the drivers footwell but it doesn't stop it. Any ideas? Cheers, Andy
  20. I think leave as it. Its one of the nicest looking supras i've seen. But it should be down to your personal choice and whatever you think looks best.
  21. yeh mate, anything that might get the fuel bills lower (without putting a brick under the accelerator) can't be bad!
  22. Nice one locky. I'd be very interested to know the difference it makes.
  23. Was good to meet up with you guys and put some more names to faces. Our short, 2 white supra convey was fun locky! I wasnt meaning to follow you, just fancied a blast down the motorway. Hope all goes well squiffy!
  24. I'm going to see how the car is behaving this morning as it was idling funnily last night. If it's magically gone away I will try to make an appearance!
  25. Hey guys, I am gonna try and make this meet. Might be hungover after my mates birthday though! Be good to put some names to faces!
