  1. Jurgen!! Long time no speak! How's it going mate? How's the family? The ring is UNBELIEVABLE! Can't wait to go again! =) There was a few GTRs (r35) on the track too, those puppies are fast!! J
  2. Was having some bodywork done on the car by then... Next time you're going I'll try to go too! =) Is there o topic with photos of your trip somewhere?
  3. Haha That's great buddy! Please do! =D
  4. Me indeed! =) How's it going Tom!? Did you go on the track or were you just spectating? 5. Fantastic! =D Leamington Spa mate! CV31...
  6. Will do once I get started... I don't really know what I'm getting into because there isn't a whole lot of info on the supra headlights. That's why I don't want to spend a lot of money... It might be just wasted time in the end! If it turns out to be just getting a bracket made I'll make it available... I've got a PIAA aftermarket HID kit on mine and it's just not good enough. =/
  7. If you're running those at the moment they're probably in too good condition to be as cheap as I want them to be... I'm after something that would go in the bin anyway (or close to it) because I'm not thinking about reusing them afterwards. I want them just to mock up the new projectors position and build the brackets. The kit will then go on my headlights. Thanks anyway mate! =)
  8. Hi guys... I'm after a headlight or a pair of them. Not interested on the condition of the plastic or glass front, you can keep it for all I care! lol I need it to make custom brackets for a OEM HID retrofit... Any busted headlights around...???? Cheers! Edit: Preferably busted or going in the bin, don't want to make an investment on this... I'm after paying very little money or postage alone on this.
  9. If you don't push it why wouldn't it be "rock solid"? That's what I said on the my previous post anyway... Right foot controls the danger level. "Damp" is a bit generic but grip does go down. If the rear doesn't break out on a straight line it will do earlier when going around a corner. Again, right foot. It's completely up to you the risks you take. It won't crash on its own! Know the car, know how far to push. And definitely no reason to be scared of you've got something going on inside your head and have a bit of self control.
  10. Yeah but it's probably going to be safer than most cars on the road at the same speeds! It only starts getting scary when your right foot starts acting silly but thankfully that one only does what you want it to do... In the end, if you spin out you're the one to blame. It's a fast car, but you can drive it slow... Singles as in turbos then... Ok ok... =P
  11. A TT is already quite a handful as soon as the weather goes slightly damp! Mine's a daily driver and it's loads of fun, but it keeps me on my toes all the time. If I had silly power with a single I'd probably be posting this from heaven by now (or hell... probably hell =P). Btw, are we talking single turbos, single owners or both? lol
  12. No pics for now, I'm away from home at the moment...
  13. I've got like for like on my parts... An original Ridox bumper costs around 800 pounds from what I've seen, and I don't want to be repairing a forged wheel... It's not going to be a cheap repair and I want to have it done properly. Just need a trustworthy place! Thanks!
  14. Yeah, I know. I just need a place I can trust... That's the reason for the thread. I guess I need to make that a bit more obvious then! =P Editing post...
  15. Hi all, Had a slight mishap last night on a roundabout, buckled a wheel and cracked a bumper... =( Notified my insurance company that directed me to their approved garage. The thing is, it's a Volk wheel and a Ridox bumper! I can bet they're gonna kick up a fuss about the wheel and where to get it from and end up getting one with the wrong width and offset. Regarding the bumper I'd bet they haven't even heard the brand name... Making a fibreglass bumper fit properly sometimes requires craft and doing the colour matching may also take some skill... I'm freaking out a bit and I'm aware of it, probably seeing monsters where there aren't any... but you all have Supras and I'm sure you know how I feel. Can anyone recomend a trustworthy place in the warwickshire area where I can get my car fixed? Any advice? Pretty please? Thanks guys!
  16. - Shut up! - No, you shut up! - No, you shut up! - No, you! - ... (Repeat to fade...) Suspension set up and quality is fundamental. Fact. Thanks. Carry on with the thread! It started off really well with good info and concepts regarding tyre dimensions and the impacts on grip with the added comments about the importance of the suspension geometry. Could we please resume? Thanks!
  17. That was the first one I tried! Just on top of the road from me... What courses were you doing at Gaydon?!
