  1. Pads moving in the calipers. Can you only hear it with the window down?
  2. Depends what you are looking for. My car came with Cusco suspension which many will say is very good, but it didn't really suit my needs, it was a bit bouncy/harsh and noisy when cold. I'm not planning to "track" the car so was looking at softer set-ups. I was debating D2's/Tein SS. The D2's get a very good write up on the Honda forums but are less stiffly sprung than the Supra variant, I think the spring rates on the D2's were daft (17KG front? Can't remember the rear). You can however specify your own spring rates - but you'd need to know what you were doing here. The Teins have a more 'sociable' spring rate (think they are 11KG up front). I was already ordering bits from Nic (the pimp) so added some Tein SS with top mounts, i'm very pleased with them. Got the damping set quite firm (about 15 clicks) but it's fine. Some people may knock the build on the super street but I haven't seen many threads where this is a problem, anyway for the price even if it did bust in 4 - 5 years time you'd just go and buy another set. That's my 2p

You'll also need to download an flv player I think. Have a look on http://www.download.com

  5. No probs, everyone else must have used the diagram! Thanks mate. Dan.
  6. Fixed it, the wires on pin 30 were the wrong way round. There is an inconsistency with what is written in the text and what is shown on the diagram. It currently reads: 7a) Connect the marked G wire to pin 30 of relay 1 7b) Connect the marked Gw wire to pin 30 of relay 2 This should be: 7a) Connect the marked G wire to pin 30 of relay 2 7b) Connect the marked Gw wire to pin 30 of relay 1 Apart from that hiccup, it's an excellent guide

  8. Thanks for the reply, I'm 99.9% sure it's all wired in correctly. One bit that may have got confused is the two wires that bridge both relays, the wires look similar, but one is an earth and one goes to the dash switch. If these were swapped over would it give the problems i've been describing? I'll double check later if I get some time. Got my MOT in a few weeks so need to get this working. Edit: Is it possible the relays could be buggered? Is there an easy way of testing them? Thanks. Dan.

Each to their own Not bad for a first mix on vinyl!

No real hard "dirty" trance in mine, thumping melodic tunes. For the Kevin and Perry fans among us - "Balearic Pumping or Commercial Pumping?"

More progressive trance at the start, then gets going about track 7. Enjoy

  13. Hi all, Been following Pixelfills guide that converts the brake lights to fog lights, which might I add is an excellent guide (thanks). All wired up correctly as I checked everything 4 times when assembling. I may be jumping the gun a bit here but thought I'd test that the lights worked the way they used to before installing the switch. However, I put the lights on and the middle two show as fog's. Will this be cured when I install the switch? Surely it shouldn't make any difference with no switch installed, they should behave as normal.....? Hope someone can help me, don't want to have to take it all out again!
  14. lol, from the town centre go over the bridge then it's just after the first turning on the left. Rapid fit share a car park with the petrol station. Yes, if you've got to the mini roundabout you've gone to far! In essence they are part of the Ford centre, just built onto the side of it.
  15. My mate works for Rapid fit in Witham so friendly MOT's here, I'd trust them with the motor any day. Having said that I still take my car to Westfields for most stuff, I also know these guys pretty well and they probably have more hands on experience with Supra's than Rapid fit.
  16. Does it go away when the engine gets warm? If so it could be the aux belt. You can test it by spraying a little water on it when the engine is cold, if it goes away it's the aux belt.
  17. Yeah I have the same problem, changed to OEM discs and CW pads. My garage said they'd quieten down eventually and that there was nothing they could do - all the shims and anti rattle springs were put back in correctly. Mine only does it on ridges in the road, one way to check is to try and move the pads by hand, on mine you can hear them touching the caliper.
  18. DOH! Curse my luck. Well done Marco
  19. The exit is bad, thankfully my car isn't as low/stiff as it used to be, it must be a nightmare for some of the ultra low cars - unless they take a short cut across the grass that is.
  20. It was pretty soggy in places, the back of the club stand was a bit churned up. The weather did get hotter just as I was leaving, so maybe it will dry out a bit for the Sunday go-er's (as long as they don't have any more rain!) Enjoy!
  21. What a great day (apart from the weather being naff early on), didn't join the stand as I had to leave early and didn't want the hassle of being blocked in. It's the first time I've been to JAE and the first time my Supra has been to a show. Saw some really nice Supra's today, including an orangey one - loving that colour! Roll on next year, maybe I will get the chance to meet more of you.
  22. Yay! I'm notoriously unlucky though
  23. 70 in a 30! Is that the road they have just changed to 30 mph?
