Sold, the car is on it's way to the south of France tonight. A sad day, I'll probably never own another :( Thanks to people on this forum who have helped and given advice over the few years I've been a member. Dan.

It went for £3500 in the end, the guy that bought it didn't even try an offer as he knew how much money had been put into it. We've got to stick a new MOT on it and then it's gone! at least someone else can get it finished off and enjoy it.

Sold Someone got a bargain!!
-
He he he, 2.2K is the best offer so far! Although I've had lots of phone calls this morning, perhaps someone might even come to see it!!
-
It is indeed, considering the fact it's pretty much mechanically new! We need it off our driveway though
-
Really must go now £3500. It'll be great fun at Santa Pod when mapped.

Offers in Region of 10K?

My Nissan Sunny (1995 1.4) is a fantastic little car. Easy to service yourself, cheap parts from motor factors, I do two services a year at about £25 a time, its on 97,000 miles now without any problems. No cambelt to worry about either. 44MPG winter, 48MPG in the summer.
-
Still trying to shift this, now reduced from £5800 to £4500, no tax or MOT, but the car has hardly moved since the last MOT! Someone please take her, not a single person has come to look at her yet :-(
-
MOT'd until 27th August 2009.

He he he, sadly not, no credit When I bought it I wanted to put the stock spoiler on it, but the "spoilerless" look grows on you, it makes it even more unique!

Thanks for the comments guys, I love this car so much, I'll be very sad to see it go as I probably won't ever own another

SOLD Over the years I've read numerous posts car forums about people selling their pride and joy to fund a house purchase, sadly this is now the case with me. The Supra has always been my dream car since I saw the mkiii version in the 80's as a kid, sadly it's now time for someone else to enjoy this awesome piece of engineering. I purchased the car from Whifbitz in September 2006, it was a fresh import at the time and I've only covered about 4,000 miles since then. The car came in with approx 70,000km on it and I've covered about 4,000, so the total mileage is in the region of 47,500. The car now counts in miles but the kms on it haven’t been converted. The car sounds great and drives great – it always feels very “planted” on the road and drives straight. I don't drive like a nutter so rest assured that while she's been in my ownership she's been looked after very well.....I even managed 27 MPG during an "off boost" run! I've got a runaround for the commute so the Supra sits in the garage all week, because of this I've managed to keep stone chips and car park dings to a minimum, in fact there are no dings at all, but a few minor stone chips on the low front bumper. The car really shines when washed and waxed, I used a paint rubber the car last year and it came up like glass! - See pictures below. Some have questioned the spec of this car, a garage I take mine to have driven lots over the years but they reckon that this one is very quick indeed, a few other people have commented on the sound saying the engine can’t be standard. I don’t know about this as I haven’t driven any others, I’m selling the car as per spec below….. Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me, car is located in Braintree, Essex. I’m looking for £10,250. Offers in Region of 10K N Reg (late 1995) 3 Litre Twin Turbo 6 Speed Gearbox LSD Climate Control Air conditioning Traction Control Power Steering ABS Electric Folding Mirrors Electric Windows Electric Drivers Seat Taxed until end of February 2009. Goodridge braided lines. Master cylinder booster on Strut brace. Suspension Tein Superstreet Coilovers (with top mounts) Carbing strut brace. Exterior Top Secret Front Bumper. Veilside Side Skirts. Touch Screen DVD Stereo, very cool but in Japanese! Uprated "Loudest.com" speakers. Other Bits Clifford Concept 650 Alarm with Installation Certificate. Fog light conversion that uses the inner two brake lights. 6000K HID's Work carried out since purchasing car in September 2006 (4,000 miles use): Several oil and filter changes. Gearbox and diff oil replaced. New auxiliary belt. New OEM brake discs front and rear. Replaced brake pads front and rear with Chris Wilson fast road pads. Flushed brake fluid. Goodridge braided brake lines front and rear. Fitted Carbing strut brace. Tein Superstreet coilovers fitted. New Cambelt and tensioner. New idler pulley. New crank pulley. New front crank seal. New water pump and thermostat. New washer jets (Lexus ones). New o2 sensor. New battery. Bad bits (at the end of every for sale ad!): The exhaust sits very close to the bumper and you can hear it tap against the bumper on low speed manoeuvres (mini-roundabouts and speed bumps), the rest of the time it's ok. Front brake pads move very slightly in the calipers and clunk a bit on badly surfaced roads, nothing to worry about, just a bit annoying. Pictures:

You don't want to clock too many mile up on the Supe I saw a red one a month or so back coming from Colchester on the A120, I think it had headlight covers, he totally ignored me when I waved, how rude!
-
That'll be me stuck in that heavy traffic Did you see me a few months back but you said you were driving a VW golf? or was that someone else? Nice supe by the way
-
Thanks very much.

Cheers for the comments guys, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I haven't looked on gtouk myself, but I know that this car is nearly mechanically new and probably better than the majority hence the higher price. We obviously want to get as much as we can for it as over 20 grand has been put into it. I know you don't get it all back when modifying/uprating cars but it'd be nice to see it go above the 4 grand mark that many dogs are selling for on Pistonheads.

A bit of a strange place to list a GTO I know as they generally aren't received very well here! but I need to shift my brothers car for him as it's just sitting on our driveway not doing anything. It has been an ongoing project for him for many years but unfortunately he has lost interest and due to other commitments has decided to sell up. A huge amount of money has been spent making this one of the best GTO's around, the car is mechanically new with many parts being replaced; either OEM or aftermarket uprated parts (see huge spec below!). Roughly 71,500 on the clock which is a mixture of Miles and Kilometers. 60,000 is in Kilometers and the rest in Miles, so the total mileage is 48,782. However, most parts that have been changed only have 500 - 1000 miles on them! Please contact me with any questions you may have, although I may have to refer them to my brother if I can't help. The spec is as follows: 1991 Mitsubishi GTO in Electric Blue - 5-Speed Transmission - 6 cyl 3.0 L Turbo Engine - Twin Turbo - Twin Intercooler - Drivers Air Bag - Digital Climate Control - Alloy Wheels - Anti-Lock Brakes - Cruise Control - Electric Mirrors - Front & Rear Limited Slip Differential - ABS, Remote Central Locking - Electrically Adjustable Drivers Seat - Power Steering - Electric Windows - 6 Speaker Stereo - Active Rear Spoiler - Tilt Steering Wheel - Full Time AWD - Same Phase 4 Wheel Steering (AWS) Work Undertaken (that he can remember, may be more than this): - New Mitsubishi shortblock engine - Heads fully rebuilt - Gearbox rebuilt - New TEC 15G turbos ( capable of approx 25psi ) - NGK Iridium spark Plugs (plus set 1 range colder for when boost increased) - MSD Ignition leads (Red) - K&N Induction Kit - Spec Stage 3 Clutch (Excellent), New Fork and Thrust Bearing - Uprated Kormex output shaft and spool, new transfer case seals - New O2 Sensor - New Propshaft mounts - New Engine Mounts - New Clutch Master Cylinder - New Clutch Slave Cylinder & hoses - Pocketlogger & Knockbox with switch mounted into centre console, allows you to view engine management details while driving also Knockbox shows O2 voltage (rich or lean, Knock count (misfire), engine timing - A-Pillar Pod - Autometer Mechanical Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, Boost gauges mounted into centre console in stock locations (green glow) - Autometer Electrical water temp mounted into A Pillar pod (green glow) - Custom white reverse indiglo dials can change from blue to green - ECU Capacitors uprated by the ECU doctor. - Bozz Speed Front bumper - MK 3 rear light panel - Custom downpipe and decat, only requires basic emissions testing because of year - which it easily passed - TEIN type FLEX suspension (adjusts for ride height and stiffness) - 3G 20 groove front discs - EBC redstuff front pads - EBC blackstuff rear pads - 3SX fully adjustable rear control arms - Alpine CD Player, Pioneer TSG1709 front speakers, Pioneer 6x9 rear speakers (can't remember specific model) - BLITZ Supersound dump valve - Unknown origin aftermarket exhaust - TOAD Ai606 Thatcham CAT1 alarm/Immobiliser with light mounted into a-pillar - WALBRO uprated fuel pump (to 500BHP) - Fuel pump hotwire kit fitted (constant 14v to pump) - 3SX active aero bypass ( allows rear spoiler to automatically rise and fall as front removed for bumper) - DN CHROME intercooler hardpipe kit ( 2" pipes uprated from 1.5") - FSE fuel pressure regulator with gauge - Red Vacuum hoses - GREDDY PROFEC E-01 boost controller with display screen & control - GREDDY E-MANAGE with ignition harness fitted - EK2MFG Fuel Rail loop (bigger diameter fuel pipe from front bank to rear, anodised blue) - RC550 Injectors - Big bore hydraulic lifters (3mm not original 1mm) - Turbo Oil feed and return lines - All new gaskets inc head gasket - ISC Valve removed and cleaned - New radiator hoses - New radiator - New radiator fan motor - New alternator - New oil pump - New water pump - New thermostat - New cambelt, tensioner and idler pulley - Chrome & powder coated GTO spark plug cover - blue rocker covers (sprayed with high temp blue paint) - New oil, filter, fuel filter, diff oil etc... - New gear gaiter - Trust GREX gear knob - Interior recoloured to black (looks so much better) - MOT until end of August 2008 - it's only done 100 miles since the last one!! - Tax expired - New uprated Battery - Just finishing run in period for engine Work left to do : - The bodywork is generally very good for the age of the car, however the front bumper has picked up some scrapes and light damage, not too severe it can be repaired. - Drivers sun visor missing 'Vanity unit', Originally the Greddy display screen was mounted here, but I decided it was too difficult to see when driving, leaving a hole where the mirror and lights used to go. You should be able to get replace this unit without having to get another sun visor at little expense. - E-Manage is running a basic map for low boost (6.5 psi), it is slightly rich and will need retuning by a SPECIALIST or SOMEONE KNOWLEDGEABLE (don't get an idiot to do this or it will cost you the engine) A simply awesome car that just needs mapping to get the most out of it. Please note, the car runs perfectly fine on the basic map and isn't causing any damage to it - it's not as fast as it could be though! Part-Ex considered. Strictly no canvassers or agencies. £5800 £4500 £3500 Video of what she sounds like (note no smoke etc...):

Not all of them, mine has got the antenna built into the cradle and I can't fit it anywhere in the Supe, what a waste of cash that was.

£100 delivered in mainland UK.

Thanks Mr Fish. I meant OEM parts really, I know we've got Nic on here that can probably get the bits from Japan, but would Toyota UK have stock?
