  2. Hello all, I tried selling my Supra Aerotop a little while back, however the arrival of a new baby meant I could hardly spend time seeing it through. Anyway, I’ve put it back on the market now at a reduced price. £2999. Its metallic silver, good condition, great engine and absolutely factory standard except for the alarm and radio. Basic details are: L-Reg, N/A 90K miles BIMTA check - passed Clifford Alarm TFT touch screen stereo Well looked after. Excellent Engine. One previous owner I’ve owned this car for about 5 years and the only reason I’m selling is because I now have two kids and three cars, as this one isn’t practical anymore. Please contact me if you are interested in buying. Many thanks Hakan.
  3. Hi SupraMan, thanks for the good advice, I will spruce the Ad up a bit. I didn’t want to rave on about it too much as most Supra owners know exactly what to expect from such a car. They are great to drive and I can honestly say that it’s my favourite car to drive. But I will do it justice and update the Ad as you suggest. I will take a picture of the engine too as it was extremely clean when I bought it and still is very good compared to some photos of cars that I’ve seen. In fact I think the previous Japanese owner did his 39K miles on a treadmill as the alloys didn’t have a single mark on them and the body was 100% immaculate. Pedals were nearly new, steering wheel and dashboard was as good as new. I thought it was too good to be true so i paid for a BIMTA check which verified it all. Nearly all my UK miles are motorway miles as I was commuting to and from work round the M25 and along the A127.
  4. Thanks. Yes its totally standard and unmodified. The only reason im selling is because baby no.2 is on the way and it's not so baby friendly :-( I have some more pics that i can put up in a bit.
  5. Cows in the back....unless Toyota used vinyl of course, but it looks and smells like leather.
  6. 89,000 true miles (theres mixture of Japanese KM and UK miles so odo reads higher), Auto, Non-turbo, (L-Reg). Metallic silver, MOT & Tax until Nov 2011. Air Con, ABS, Half leather interior. Thatcham CAT1 Clifford Alarm incl internal & external proxy sensor, BIMTA certificate. One previous Owner. 7-inch TFT touch-screen stereo/CD/DVD player incl bluetooth hands free. Kept in garage for most of its UK life. Good tyres all round, some service history & receipts, recently oil change. Plus it's simply just a great car to drive. Thanks
  7. Hi guys, I am selling my Supra Aerotop which i have enjoyed for over 5 years. It's a brilliant car and with summer just around the corner it's such a pleasure to drive. Im looking for £4250. Please let me know if you are interested. Open to sensible offers. Thanks Hakan.
  8. None were originally made. The only one I know of is from the 'Fast and Furious' :-)
  9. Sure, no probs. Realistically though Im expecting (and would consider) offers under £5k.
  10. You're right, I missed the summer months due to moving house at the same time. The higher price is my Autotrader price but willing to consider more 'going rate' offers especially from club members. These are such great cars and I'll probably end up buying one when again I'm an old timer and they are classics!
  11. Guys, I am reluctantly selling my Supra Aerotop . Ive put it on Autotrader if you want to see the full details. Its a little bit pricey but theres only one other NA Aerotop for sale in the whole country on there and im willing to accept offers. Its a great car, given me lots of joy and im sure it will make the next user just as happy. Thanks and all the best. 12. Cool, thanks guys, I'll have a go 2nite.
  13. Hi all, when cornering hard to the right my interior light switch comes on and so does the Door-Open warning symbol. It’s a bit like having my very own traction control light – but without the traction control. Pulling on the doors doesn’t seem to trigger it off. Any pointers please? Thanks
  14. In my work car park! Who r u?!
  15. The guy at toyota also suggested the pads. He said that I could buy a spring and clip kit to cure it, not sure tho...?
  16. Anyone know how to cure moving brake pads? Nice1
  17. I have Jap spec brakes. After doing yet more searches and with the advice of u guys it sounds like its the pads….....if its pads how would I fix it? Thanks
  18. I'd be gutted if its the pads. I bought them from toyota.
  19. This noise is really bugging me cos its getting embarrassing! I was doubting the brakes because I couldnt feel it through the brake pedal - good/bad assumption - I dont know...? opinions please…. Also got my mate to drive it and it sometimes comes the front left and sometimes from the front right - but in both cases it sounds like its coming from underneath and not from the wheels - but its hard to tell. Cheers
  20. Are any of the subrframe bolts hidden by the plastic engine tray? I didnt bother to remove it when I looked. Thanks
  21. Sorry Mikey, didnt get u..?? Are you talking about pads?
  22. Spent some time under the car and couldnt find anything loose. If it was the pads moving would'nt I feel it in the brake pedal? How do u stop pads from moving?? Thanks
  23. Good point, i did change the pads a little while back. I'll give em a good check over. Thanks
  24. Hi guys, I believe that my front sub-frame bolts are loose as the car makes a clunking noise when parking. It always clunks once when going from fwd-reverse and vice-versa especially when the brakes are applied. My question is, when I tighten the bolts should I stop the car in fwd? or reverse? As I guess the frame will be in two slightly different positions. I hope that makes sense. Thanks.
