1. The wheels have now been sold to a fellow supra owners club member!!!
2. The tyres have plenty of tread you wont be dissapointed and the wear is even, my wheels are always laser alligned. Make me a bid and I will let you know if its what I will take, I currently have 18 people viewing the wheels on e.bay. Regards.
3. Air impulse version 2 centre intake induction kit for supra 3.0 N/A j-spec 93-. Bought from Envy about 5 months ago, in excellent condition, paid approx £130. Offers please.
4. Not sure it was on j-spec supra - but there is alot of space inside the wheel so would think so - Nic may be able to tell you as i got the wheels from him (the guy who imports from japan always on this forum!)
5. Thanks for that simple yet effective!
6. Well its a long story but here goes. About 2 months ago i hit a wooden post that was on the side of the road and it damaged the front end of my belovered supra. I wanted to get it fixed but did not want to lose my no cliams bonus as I am getting a 350z in September (and i know they will pay out nothing and it will affect my insurance for ages) so I have decided to sell the car as damaged and take the loss (ouch). The mot ran out about 10days ago and its been sat in a garage for the last 2 months. The car was mint before i hit it in fact i washed it the day i hit it! All the details are on e.bay but if you own a garage it could be fixed. /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_sad.gif /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_sad.gif Thought i would let my fellow forum members know - its not been recorded. PS i have my 18" Advan wheels and Induction kit for sale on e.bay as well. If you find the link you can view them as well. Yes it is a sad day. If you know how to put the link on to e.bay it would be welcomed (the wheels are NOT bent at all, no damage to wheels at all). Item number: 190001771695
7. Very good colsoop how did you do that?
8. 4 wheels for sale, they have all been refurbished about 3 months ago and are in excellent condition (not bent!), the only marks are were the bolts have been taken off and put back in again by the garage. The fronts are 245/40/18's with bridgestone S02's and the rear are 285/35/18 with Dunlops. The treads are all legal and in good condition. The wheels are Advan VS-5's. I have put the wheels on e.bay so if you search you will find them (cant work out how to put the link direct!)
9. Had both rear arches rolled, then the lips repainted, and then cavity waxed - how much - well my mate owns a bodyshop and he wanted some beer money and I did make him some brews when he did it so it cost me £20!!!
10. Had the arches rolled now the rubbing has completely gone - how do i know? because after it had been done 3 mechanics and me driving took it round a roundabout untill the back end came round - no rubbing!!!!!!
11. Yes, booked in tomorrow to get the arches rolled - they reckon if 30 wont rub but 35 will they can get between 7-8mm clearance from rolling the arches! So the sage continues my fingers are well and truly crossed mate!!! and if the paint cracks on the edge of the arches they will soft mask the edge and 2 pack paint any damage and it wont show on the quarters.
12. If i buy 2 more tyres tomorrow!!! will the 285/30/18 stop the catching does 5mm make that much difference? Dont mind it catching if I am booting it but at the moment cant go round corners at more than 15mph!!!
13. Its a shame I have put on 4 new tyres this morning! Dont think the credit card will take another hammering!
14. Well today I have finally put my new wheels on the supra, after I had spent the bank holiday weekend colour coding the sills, spats, front spoiler and brake callipers. The wheels are 18" Advans and the fronts are fine no problem however the rears which are on 285/35/18 catch on the arch when you go round corners. What is the answer? The arches have not been rolled out which i believe will help. The car is on standard suspension set-up (j-spec) - what is the solution? Will i need different shocks - or would bump stops help - or roll out the arches? Here are some pics of the wheels (no theres not as the pics exceed forum - how do u fix that then?!?) Thanks
