  1. Yeah I agree - kids want theme parks these days! I absolutely adored Scotland as a teenager - I spent the summer in Edinburgh with my godmother as she was in a fringe play. Best summer of my life.
  2. Yes - he said someone had just got to the crossing.
  3. It's the same reason that things from the actual day have been misconstrued - not necessarily by the reporters but perhaps 'bad' reporting, one such example relating to a conspiracy theory of the bombings on 7/7:- (taken from a times article http://women.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/women/the_way_we_live/article6187493.ece)
  4. I can't watch videos at work. But I don't think it was conspiracy. Now what?
  5. a trained missile, or an explosives-laden small military plane, obviously.
  6. So - which meeting did he divulge all of NASA's top secrets - the first one?
  7. I used to - however I made my own pizzas on Saturday night. Much nicer, fresh dough and toppings and didn't get served to me by some spotty brain dead who looks like he hasn't washed for a week.
  8. Nothing from ASDA is extra special. HTH
  9. I reckon the government made it 7/7 so that the Americans couldn't change the way you should write the date. It's either that or I'm doing something. My ex's birthday is 9th September and my current OH's birthday is 7/7. I think my theories are a bit more credible at least.
  10. This is worse than the conspiracy thread.
  11. Currently writing a theory about the British Government being lizards. It makes an interesting read.
  12. What is the theory on the 7/7 bombings?
  13. I can blame that on hormones - what's your excuse?
  14. You're right, I totally didn't take all this into account. Perhaps I could store some food in my mouth and feed it to her like a bird?
  15. Speaking as someone who is having an actual pregnancy - pot noodle is the very last thing on my mind in the mornings! Salt and vinegar chipsticks though.....now you're talking!
  16. I think the trick is to 'cook' things for longer than you would at sea level. I'm not entirely sure though, I've not been up any mountains lately I think that's a man thing - pizza in the mornings etc. I have to have food at the required times of the day, it doesn't make sense otherwise. Like when you have to have cake for breakfast in Italy, WRONG!
  17. Presumably if you're eating food on an expedition at high altitude it will be something in a can or dried sachet that's already gone through some kind of cooking process and only needs to be reheated - ie not something that need sterilisation. Even more weird - what possessed you to eat something like that at this time of the morning?!

    Banking Worry

I think that's what I heard. Hope you get it sorted promptly - all rather annoying and time consuming having to deal with banks these days.
  19. I'm not sure what I'd do really - what a horrible position to find yourself in. Aside from the not being able to be in your own home bit you'd have to deal with the fact that someone else had been living there if you ever did get back in!
