Well - I was brought up properly and respect people, whether I'm drunk or not and wouldn't dream of 'getting lippy' with anyone let alone the police. If my child did, I would think she would deserve all she got.

I was going to say that, and American Werewolf in London - that still creeps me out now, I have to watch with all the lights on. Straw dogs is good too - more of a thriller I guess but definitely 'horror'.

Presumably the government will be using the wages from the 2 million people who were on strike yesterday to pump back into the economy. Or maybe they'll add it to the bankers bonuses. Oh and I think he's an idiot to put it mildly but he always has been. Clearly just a bit of publicity for him. Just edit to add I thought the comment he made afterwards regarding suicides on trains were much worse.

The clue is - it's a film and removed from reality. More specifically as it's based in a fictional town I know drinking at work used to be a lot more acceptable - but then people used to smoke in the doctors surgery too.

I didn't presume he had depression - no one knows the circumstances. I was responding more as a general post to someone who said they had no sympathy for anyone that commits suicide. I don't think for a second it was DIY that went wrong but I'm sure we'll never know.

You've obviously never encountered depression in you life. There is no rhyme or reason to it and it's a dreadfully sad and debilitating disease. We will never know what the situation was but the simple fact is there may not have been one reason for it. Ah yes I forgot about your issues I think heavily pregnant posing is considered perverted so for that reason I won't be offering. I'm sure Ed would be happy to though.
