That's not really what was being said. The study showed that people over 65 perhaps should have a separate unit limit than people of say 21 - because the doddering old fools might forget they're taking medication when they booze it up and their bodies aren't what they used to be. -
Spot on. It's not health and safety at all - it's fear of losing money if someone was to fall and make a claim.

Same here. We lived in a cul-de-sac and weren't even allowed onto the top road which was part of another very quiet road.

Apparently they were playing in the woods that back onto the road. The boy that was killed decided he was hungry and wanted to go home early so therefore tried to cross the road. I personally wouldn't have allowed my child to play near that road, it's very busy, very hard to see over the brow of the hill on that particular side and with no clear crossing markers.

I suspect we are. Considering that the immediate response to the post was to refer to law in another country about stringing the guy up - clearly it wasn't just me that read it that way.

Llanberis and Elan Valley are beautiful - you can still enjoy spirited driving but with more scenary (Elan Valley is where EVO take the nice pictures). Both appear on the link Gaz has entered above or http://www.drivingroads.co.uk/category/wales. Bala is stunning - if you can use a route passed that do try, great to get out and have a wander too. The B4391 and B4407 are both ones we've driven in the past and are lovely. We tend to try different routes when we're in the area but most of the B roads in the area will be fun.

I don't have access to FB at work but will 'like' when I get home. I'm so glad I sold my TT ticket, even the thought of Robbie Williams makes me feel sick. He does a load of his own songs too, the cheek of it!
