  1. There's two 'groups' of MKIVSUPRA.NET owners on Facebook. Totally agree. It's an excellent business marketing tool. I get the majority of interest in my blog from twitter, it's far more than a celebrity tool like it started off being. In fact, I hardly follow any celebs, just RL people.
  2. Exactly. So the people with an ounce of talent will get talked about, battered in the press, followed, papped to within an inch of their life in every scenario (can you imagine being papped when you're falling out of a nightclub or hung over after a night out?) and eventually hated by the very people that fuelled the original furor. Whatever your musical tastes - she won 5 grammys in one night, a feat which has not been achieved by anyone else in this country - I can't think that is a waste of a life. I didn't know her as a person so can't comment on whether she was a pain in the arse or not. All I know is that I've encountered people that have had addictions in their lives and they have to want to help themselves and sometimes, the demon is too strong. Luckily for those people, they're afforded a private life. The people that say 'junkie' 'waster' whatever, need to wake up and look around this country. The rot set in a long long time ago, long before the likes of her were 'influencing' the kids.
  3. And isn't that to do with how reporting of people has changed over the years rather than how they behaved?
  4. I don't understand this role model argument. Kids of yesteryear had terrible role models too. The likes of Jimi Hendrix and James Morrison (both 27 when they died and both in drugs related circumstances) were exactly the same. Perhaps the way the media portraits people these days is part of the problem but there are always going to be 'rockstars' and they will always be living in the fast line. Personally when I was young and impressionable the only people influencing me were my peers or people at my school smoking in the toilets. Certainly not people I saw on the tele.
  5. I think it is okay to express sadness for all of the sad things that have happened in the last few days. We shouldn't try to confuse ourselves by thinking that is it the same kind of sadness or that they are the same kinds of deaths, because clearly, unarguably, they are enormously different. But there can always be a place for the thoughts of someone who has died, whatever the circumstances are - for me anyway. I remember seeing the footage of her in Belgrade and she was such a state, it seemed sick that people were making money from her whilst she was clearly so so broken and so in need of help. How on earth they let her go on is just beyond me. But then at the same time, I recognise that people in the grips of addiction can be offered all the help in the world, but if they don't want it, then there's very little to stop them self-destructing.
  6. Oh. Sorry, I must be thinking of Dr Banana.
  7. Dr Lee drives a black supe.
  8. Where are you going to go with the battleship? Everyone is a zombie!
  9. It's such a varied thing these days. Zombies are just not how they used to be. A true zombie smells 'fresh meat' so alive humans. So there's potential for getting a few zombies and pasting them on the outside of the house so the zombies would think everything in there was dead and ignore it all together.
  10. Nope. But personally I couldn't think of ANYTHING worse! I have no patience to deal with idiots at the best of times and people are so retarded these days I'd be constantly bashing my head against the dashboard I think. Also - from a personal perspective I think the best driving instructors are the ones that are a bit older, take the time to explain things in an 'old school' way and are fun. Well, maybe that was just my instructor he was lovely.
  11. It depends on what kind of outbreak we're talking about. If they're true zombies in the sense of 'walking dead' then they don't have a brain and therefore no intelligence. If it's more of a genetic outbreak like in I am legend the 'zombies' were still alive cos he found a cure for them so they still had some ability to think. It's a cool house though.
  12. Could definitely be that or just a simple remortgage - because that would effectively be a new charge.
  13. They've either taken out a second charge (with the same bank if it's the same bank that's listed)? Or they've remortgaged so charge has been updated.
  14. 1. - not repossession, just that they have the latest charge over the property (section C is the charges register not the proprietorship register if that makes sense). When the property is registered you have to register the house as 'taking a charge' for the lender unless of course you were a cash buyer. That just means their charge is there until the mortgage is paid. 2. Point 1 in the proprietorship register (section B) should state who owns the property - I suspect it's two people and that they own it as joint tenants which is actually what that paragraph relates to - one can't sell the house without the other, unless one dies then a trustee can act on their behalf. Hope that helps
  15. I know, but it was a 'girls that own supras' nothing to do with pictures of women supra owners....until a man asked. Just saying. I've been here long enough for people to know I don't give a rat's behind about pictures being posted (I started a show us your face thread) but it's just this particular thing has been mentioned by the boss man several times. A small search of the word hovis will point out the other threads.
  16. Well I don't as you'd know if you knew me. But thanks for pointing out there's a thread like that on supraforums. Maybe it will stop members asking girls for photos (like JB requested we don't which was my original point).
  17. Blimin heck that's brilliant! Does he know he could earn good money in adverts?!
  18. What's your point then?
  19. What does that have to do with me taking things too seriously?
  20. Are you applying to agencies or direct to companies? Perhaps a bit more about your experience, what attracted you to the ad etc.
  21. That's why I mentioned Pistonheads because it's a target audience, rather than someone who knows nothing of the cars. I still think there must be people out there looking for a clean, well maintained example - despite all the chavved up ones floating around.
  22. I suspect someone will have possessory title of that land from long ago. I'm sure that makes you rest easier.
