  1. what sort of boost could this take on an uprated engine? with aem and 880 injectors sorry for the hijack
  2. Borrowed the transit from work while my cars having the single and new engine fitted. Blew it up this morn only had it 4 days
  3. I think a TVR tuscan is next on the cards for me or an r34 skyline
  4. I have bought A load from them too took a month to get here but not had to pay tax and it half the price from what you will pay over here:cool:
  5. give me a shout then mate but to be honest as Ive not made any jigs at the mo mate im better off having the car and making the exhaust fit what you have, if you cant do that Ill borrow me mates then make a jig
  6. dont think I can make this as ill be on my way home from the modball event might pop in on me way home
  7. Im too busy at the mo mate in a couple of months im going to look into working for myself
  8. Most exhaust fabricators only have pipe forming tools up to 2.5" due to the size of the wall thickness they will norm buckel unless you have the expensive equipment, personally If the pipe work has been purge welded then it will be just as good as a quality mandrel bent pipe., I guess hp gains will be minimal but for me it was more self achievement building the whole system, than giving it to some one who had the machines to do it. Im not 100% happy with the end can as it was a bit bashed up when I have some more time im going to make a one off piece
  9. as soon as the new single and engine build is run in and mapped there will be a few sensable driving vids knocking about
  10. might be interetsde if theres enough interest can make any end can desired
  11. I bought them in mate, most pipe benders will not produce a smooth bend like these
  12. I have a set of alloys on my supra that come off my 300zx they have the same pcd but the hub alignment spigot is a different size you may find you will need spigot spacers (bought from a local alloy wheel firm)
  13. I have installed a greddy turbo timer but have a clifford alarm fitted I cant seem to over ride the alarm to arm it self after the car has shut down has any one managed this yet??
  14. Cheers for your comments will be looking into working for myself one day cant keep linning other peoples pockets, I might be interested in making a few bits up soon will have a word with the mods first though. I would have done the single install myself but with the money thats been thrown at the engine I cant afford for anything to go wrong
  15. I had a hks dragger system fitted origional but the insides fell apart about 4 months ago, so I gutted it and just ran it straight through minus the wodding inside> It sounded lovely but I was still not happy with it being as most of the pipe work is mild steel. My car went in today for the single conversion I thought it best the car mapped with the new exhaust fitted so I spent the last two nights fabbing a complete system from the 1st cat back. I have used 3" 316 stainless steel (food grade quality) the whole way through. The hks back bos was a bit to bashed up for my liking so I desisde to keep the tailpipe bit and make a complete nnew body + internals as the singles are renoun for being loud I though it best to start with it silenced and go from there. I cut the end can off dressed out all the dents and managed to round it up best I could, then gave it a good polish. I then made the body of the silencer the internal perferated baffel tube and the end plate. Once I had all the bits I tig welded the lot together wadding the silencer with rockwall. I had to modify the second decat I made to allow me to have a straighter exhaust with fewer bends and kinks like the origional pipework, once this was done I made the rest of the pipe work to meet the silencer, this was all then tig welded up. I have made the exhaust hanhers from 12mm stainless bar then welded some dome nuts to prevent the rubber mount slipping off. All in all really pleased with the exhaust its a bit quieter than before but hopefully when the single is on it will have a more throaty note The ground clearance is a lot better too. The whole system took me 9 hours to make with a cost of £0
  16. Just got in from doing mine making a one off 316 stainless exhaust 3" from the turbo back, I bought the bends from Pipe line centre they call it dairy pipe. Im going to tig weld it up as this is will give the best results will post up pics tomorrow when its done just making the backbox now
