  1. I have a problem with my gearbox hitting the tunnel in my supra, the car used to be an auto, just wondering if it has an auto gear box cross member and mounts, rather than using a 6 speed one? would there be any differences? would an auto mount fit the 6 speed box?
  2. I have an industrial roll of cling film I can bring if any one wants to use it? there was a mr2 there last year with the whole front covered in masking tape, would be a lot easyer to get off after. my bumper has a few cracks and splits at the moment, im just going to repair it then have it painted after.
  3. I have mine apart at the mo if I get home before its dark tomorrow ill take a few for you mate

  7. I just cable tied my camera to my sat nav cradle, then stuck it to the rear screen
  8. I used stailess mig wire wound that around then finnished the ends with stainless jublee clips or the mikalor clamps
  9. ok mate ill give you a ring tomorrow and pay by card cheers
  10. great stuff ill take 6 please;) how do you want paying?
  11. I have been reading up on here about the dual mass flywheel, from some of the posts the same problems as i am getting seem to be common with a buggered one. My dad is convinced its shagged he cant work out why it can be turned by hand or have around an inch of movement turning it clockwise then anti clockwise. I guess there is a possibility it is this combined with the gearbox rubbing on the floor, thats amplifed into the car?
  12. need a brand new set of these, after taking of the spark plug cover off, it apears I dont have any
  13. Im not sure what to do mate, as i sent the cheque off a while ago now it was sent 1st class
  14. to be honest the wine is not the main problem its only noticed in lower gears, its the clunking as iff something is loose inside. I have dropped the box off at a specialist today, so ill finf out the cause this week
  15. I will be fitting an os giken twin plate and need a set of 8 flywheel bolts from an N/A or even a part number? thanks
  16. Spent today removing the gearbox and other parts, what a treat that is to get out my hands are now smashed to bits Once the gearbox was out there is dents on the underside of the body work (transmission tunnel) and polished marks on the gear lever lincage where its been hitting the floor, this will explain the vibrating coming through the car possably transmission noises aswell Now that the gearbox is out I can make a neater job of the hole, just wondering why its hitting the floor its as if the mount could poss be the wrong one and raising it up just a bit far (poss an auto mount?) im sure the hole on my old supra was no bigger than whats there now. the clutch pressure plate is buckled I have put a straight edge against the face and this shows. When I come to remove the flywheel I notice it had a lot of movement, you can hold the ring gear and turn the disk that the clutch bolts to around 40mm clockwise and anticlockwise where it comes to a stop. I have checked the spigot bearing and its in there and feels ok. theres no real play in the 1st motion shaft and it feels ok, my dad seems to think the above problems is probably the cause, but im fairly certain there is a problem in the box, either something loose or to much end float on something. im fitting a twin plate clutch when it all goes back, just 50/50 on having the box stripped for piece of mind as I cant be arsed to pull it all apart again
  17. Hello mate glad you still happy with it, im gutted I had to sell it. thats why I had to buy this one
  18. No mate I sold it, think its living in germany now thanks though
