  1. Bit of a late one for me paying for it now
  2. :cool:Come hooning past me on my way whilst walking to town sounded like a single but could have been wrong
  3. Bit more loud pedal and he would have made it
  4. theres two holes on the chassie leg which I picked up on and one just below the wing, I just made a little bracket up to fix that together. Due to the range in turbo and induction kits most of these would have to be hand made to the car, the easy way of doing it is make a cardboard template shape that untill your happy then transfer onto ally
  5. I was mainly trying to stop the flow from the fan and some of the engine heat reaching it from the side, not really looking for a full enclosure as I would have made a complete custom box, thought I would bolt it to the wing to stop it flapping about and gave it some clearance from the induction pipe to stop it vibrating
  6. I cant notice the difference with them on or off mate looks good though
  7. I was thinking of moving it down there but it worried me a bit when it rains, dont want it getting soaked. I'll make a fair size hole then an some nice ducting to it
  8. Got a little bored at work opened up the bonnet to the supra for things to make when I desided to have a go at making a shield for the induction kit an hour later come up with this Im thinking of using a hole saw and drilling a hole beneith the induction kit making up some ducting to the front bumper for a ram air type design, would this be worth while mod?? next project is an oil breather system
  9. nice going mate dare to share with us the fuel bill so far
  10. Well done mate massive challenge, hats off to you
  11. Have it tig welded then you will have no spatter and a neat looking weld, you will need to find out what grade stainless the manifold is and ideally use the same grade for your braces aswell as the correct rods. I cant see you having trouble with it distorting unless your plowing loads of heat into it mainly welding the flanges will cause them to distort. I would have thought after a few runs in the car after will releave any stresses in the metal aswell
  12. what about my rematch at marham good luck with the sale mate its one hell of a car
  13. Im sure this is what tom had an it turned out to be the flywheel, mine used to clunk that turned out to be the fly wheel too do a search on dual mass flywheel there a fair bit about problems with them
  14. The worst of all "does it have NOS"
  15. Might be the Dual mass flywheel on its way out
  16. lol I always get this its enough to want to throw the bucket at them
  17. my bumper has a one off custom halfords paint job
  18. myself and a mate from work will be looking into a range of cages in a range of colours and materials, will go through the workings on here first though
  19. Im not to sure to be honest mate if thats the stamp it will need to be track certified? it will cover a wider market I guess if I get them tested along with covering my arse;)
  20. Im looking into fabricating a roll cage up is there companys out there that will test it and certificate it to a BS standard? would I need a BS standard to sell these on? any help would be great thanks john
