  3. sorry mate this is for a bmw not a supra just trying to pick some brains
  4. Managed to get hold of the fuel sock but now come across the problem of the pump being to tall for the tank can I lay this pump at 45 deg but make an angled fuel sock socket so the sock sits flat to the tank? or am I better off mounting this externally. my problem is then how would I do this as it has two pump style hangers either side of the tank, I think so it draws the fuel evenly from both halfs of the tank as the centre part of the tank sits above the prop. do I remove the old pump extend the fuel line to sit in the bottom of the tank with the fuel sock attached then fit the pump externally to the other side of this line?? hope that makes sense. Heres a pic of the bmw hanger with the fuel pump attached. http://static.schmiedmann.dk/ProductPictures/image_3756_big.jpg

  6. Hello I need to pick some brains for my e36 bmw track car project. The 1jz engine and r154 box is now fitted but the loom I got with the engine has been hacked about I believe for an emanage install, I have stripped it all back resoldered and heat shrinked. The problem I have now is working out what I need and what I can remove from the loom, the whole car has been stripped an will be having a custom loom made up so Im starting from scratch with everything, I have found the pin outs picture from google and worked out the main ECU conections X, W, U, T , plugs (dont have and ECU for it yet) I am struggling to work out what the rest of the conector blocks are, I have labled them A B C D ect for ease any help will be great I have also found this link which I hope Identyfy a few of them? http://www.supras.nl/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=38&Itemid=54 all I need really is the bare basics to run this engine
  7. id buy a universal kit from ebay and custome make it to fit mate
  8. Bought this recently from HBC with the intention of finishing it for summer but with work going quiet and my other BMW project near finished my priority's are with that at the moment. The car when I got it had light front end damage I bought a sport front bumper for it a brand new wing some new front disks a new abs sensor and a brand new front wheel. I have put a second hand suspension leg, front axel, wishbone and roll bar on it just to be sure its all straight. The car from the looks of the damage was not in a massive accident as I wouldnt have bought it. Year 2000 Manual 323CI SE 2500cc The car from what I know is Steel blue It has an after market kit on it which im not sure of the make style 22 18" BMW wheels with wider rears and good tyres Grey leather interior 80,000 miles Harman Kardron sound system fitted private plate power hood To finnish this car it needs the front bumper and wing painting ( I can get this done for the new owner at there expence) the rear bumper has a patch that needs doing on the bottom quarter The drivers seat is a bit tatty ( I have the address of a leather repair firm) The central locking is faulty had a look on the bmw forum turns out to be something called a GM5 module and the relay has burnt out (common fault on e46 bmws) I have the new relay just needs soldering in. The abs light comes on and goes off too, I have put a new sensor on but not sure as its a euro part pattern one if this is the reason. I have got a full years MOT on the car and just put 6 months tax on it, im currently driving it daily to which its not let me down and been fun to drive on the sunny days we have had recently, looking to get back what it owes me or ill carry on driving it until I have the spare cash to finnish £5,500
  9. damo have you got any engine bits left need the powersteering pump brackets an a few other bits some coil packs too
  10. Thanks for all your comments, another update for you all The next big job was to fit the engine and gearbox, I had to install the 650cc injectors into the rail befor I fitted the engine to the car all new copper fuel lines have been made up ive installed an aeromotive FPR made up and fitted all the brake lines made up some ally stone guards to allow the larger disks to cool with a force air feed in the back ive installed the Cobra seats with my custome made seat runners spent over a day on each front window trying to get the contour right the Lexan is a pain in the arse to work with, made up some ally window runners to allow a slide window set up as the front windows will remain fixed. Fitted some m3 mirrors too, The doors now weigh 15kg each ive made up a custom ally gearbox tunnel and fire wall The rear bumper has now been fitted and dave has flatted and polished the carbon spoiler, i managed to get the spoiler brackets powder coated and fitted it all using stainless bolts just started fabricating the exhaust system up from stainless trying to keep it as light and symple as possible This is how the car looks now the pictures dont do it justice once the cars all finnish an been polished ill gets some hight res pics uploaded
