  1. Except perhaps this Had me in stitches
  2. And the latest installment is This listing (330104090221) has been removed or is no longer available. Please make sure you entered the right item number. 3. Just what I thought this morning when I was out shopping. Looking into running a direct feed from the battery and using a relay triggered by the existing wiring. May be a little tedious but now that smoking is going to be banned its probably wise.
  4. Just gone back to stock. Much less induction noise. No apparent drop off of power. Anyone want an HKS mushroom???????
  5. Be afraid. Very very afraid.
  6. Motorists not being targeted to raise government funds! NOT
  7. Would it be a pain if I said, met you over there.............. No hotel at Le Touquet & no tunnel crossing.
  8. I've not seen the Dragonball 06 DVD anywhere mate. Never touched it.
  9. You open the door like this, but the b****y car has gone.
  10. And the moral of the story is... Phone Steve Manley before passing go. (Other trustworthy Toyota Parts Guys are available)
  11. Had two, yes two, nails in unrepairable spots in two days. One a brand new tyre! Hadnt driven on the same bit of road so no idea where I picked them up. Needless to say i now have a spare tyre in the garage as well as the skinny in the boot. Dont forget to keep the spare pumped up, even if it's 10 psi above its rated pressure. You can always let the air out if you need to, but pumping it up on the side of the road at 1am is not an option. Driving with a tyre narrower than your exhaust is a serious style error.
  12. Add 10. Been having 5 years between parties for a few years now. As you say insurance is cheap, and hopefully our reaction times are still sharp. Unlike the joker in his astra van this afternoon coming off the M23. He was out of shape certainly after he hit the armco jumping a red light trying to chase me into Crawley. MUPPETT
  13. My cousin left school with almost 'jack shit' of qualifications. Told my uncle he wanted to learn to fly so he had lessons, signed up for the RAF a year later, the next thing we know he is out playing with big boys toys. Air Cdre Mark Green, RAF, CBE (not forgetting his BSc) http://www.mod.uk/DefenceInternet/FactSheets/EquipmentFactsheets/JointCombatAircraftjca.htm Shame now he is flying a desk most of the time! As they say 'the possibilities are endless' go for it big time!
  14. I've been toying with the idea of converting an Auto to a Tiptronic gear shift. Anyone got any experiences/thoughts on Suprastick http://www.latentsolutions.com/index.html it looks like they have a version that will work on a Mk IV Or would it be possible to buy the necessary bits from Mr T or is it too big a change to be financially worthwhile?
  15. My insurance is with Adrian Flux. I asked for quote for Supe only and then asked for a second car quote as I have a policy with them for my kit car. The combined quote was cheaper than the quote for the Supe alone. Ok I can only drive one at a time but 'Go Figure'. Once a few years ago a policy i had lapsed accidentally. When I got a requote from the same company with the same terms and conditions that was cheaper as well. Apparently I had become a NEW customer. Go Figure. Stranger things have happened apparently.
  16. I work on a bit of Pc controlled machinery sometimes. Occasionally on reboot, its touch screen will invert the cursor operation. If you touch top right, the cursor moves to bottom left. Customers not happy! But if you gambled on several restarts it eventually puts itself right again. Running on Linux and I dont know enough about the PC or Graphics card as it is all built into one. I also have a CD somewhere with loads of harmless? pranks on it.
  17. It's a Mawby attractor. It worked didnt it.
  18. How do you get this air vent out without damaging it. On mine the bottom flap has come adrft and I cant prise it back into place properly. I've had the glove boxes out, what next!
  19. Except that the Pub has changed its name and I cant remember what it is now.
  20. Supposed to be out on the road working? Just had to download all of the tracks, some are excellent! Need more time to copy them to CD or MP3 player and listen to them all day today. Excellent find, but who is the singer/musician he deserves credit.
  21. Two months with an NA and he pranged it. How long would that have been if it was a TT.
  22. I used to enjoy John Watson on Eurosport. He seemed to know what was going on. Interesting sometimes swapping between Terrestial and Sattelite comentaries!

  24. Mine were B*****S. Ended up drilling them out very carefully. managed to salvage most of the threaded insert. Replaced all fixings with Stainless and lots of antiseize. Even managed to get nylock nuts on the inside of the wing. It was only then that I dropped my spanner and it dissapeared from sight. TIP: When using a spanner in a confined space where it could drop out of sight, or worse, reach, tie a bit of light cord to the spanner and somewhere out in the open at the other end. You can now play that excellent trick, spoon, jar, jar, spoon. (appologies to Tommy Cooper)
  25. A2 onto the M25 junction, Dragonball on rear quarter, I was going too fast the recognise the driver.
