Uk Cars arn't that easy to find though are they? Is it true that you can no longer import cars older than 96?

Is there any disadvantage in buuying low milage older supra's. for exaple a 93.

just done a reg check on my mobile with http://www.regcheck.co.uk and they tell me the dates check out but its a 5sp with 61k miles. thats me put off!!! If anyone knows of a 6sp tt vvti i'm in the market for one

how do you know the difference between vvti and non apart from yearage

Hi all i'm new here and could do with some advice. I'm looking to buy a 1998 facelift and the previous owner tells me of one issue. I'm told that "Somewhere behind the dashboard is a motor that starts up with the ignition. It isn't the heater fan, so I'm not sure quite what it is. On freezing cold mornings (and I mean below zero), sometimes this motor, or whatever it is turning, sticks and the motor labours. If you turn off, leave a few moments and start again, everything is fine, so I presume something needs lubrication. It is, like all the best niggles, intermittent so the garage has never found anything." If anyone can shed any light on this it would be much apreciated Cheers Sandy
