Thanks for the comments guys. It’s never had an engine swap. It’s a late 1997 car that sat in a forecourt in japan for a while before selling. There were a few cars that had facelift looks but no vvti engine as rider says above.

thanks chaz - its not your fault, i am looking at arch rolling options or tyr options, the fact that the backs are mich P's i'm gutted that i will be going to a tyre that isnt as good. we will see.

Sweet well i'm off to look at the state of the tyres on my other 19's as i'm hoping a can salvage maybe 2 from them and then only need 2 more.

did you put the spacers on for bigger brakes?

How can I check the wheel width just in case Chaz got them wrong and they are 11" not 10"? is it ust a case of measeuring the inside of the wheel or would I need to get the tyre off? Thanks

this is what i thought guys, as my other 19's have 265's on the rears. i'm wondering if these are an 11" wheel and Chaz just got mixed up. I bought these because all my other wheels needed refurbed and tyres, really gutted if I have to buy tyres again, was trying to avoid that!

Hi Guys, I recently bought some new wheels and was quite sure this was going to happen but they are rubbing. My first thought was to get the arches rolled but I'm not sure if this will be enough. are the tyres to large for the arch, should I be looking at changing the tyres too? 19x8.5j 35offset on 255/35 19x10j 35offset on 295/35 or is it a suspession issue, they only rub when i'm giving it some boost or going over a bump, I have yellow Bilsteins and Stock TT springs. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Sandy

I would love a Syvecs, but am only going bpu, i've had the car 7 years and have worked hard at keeping it stock, just want to make sure if i BPU its done in a good way. The Syvecs looks amazing tho.
