mine had some leds out,a guy at work repaired it for me. the hard bit is getting the unit apart ,i had to cut around the joint then prise them apart without cracking the lens.if you can get them apart the leds can be replaced then reglued together and reinstalled,mine works ok now.

i agree ask around locally,why do so many poeple trust the pride and joy to poorly trained mechinics who are used to servicing nova's,not supercars. i always stay with mine so i can see what they are up to if i cant do the work myself.

dont rush to buy, find a good one with all the right bits, it will save you a lot of aggro and loads of dosh. theres a good one out there ,pay a little more and save a lot. it took me 4 months to find mine,its worth the wait
