  1. I think the silver Supra with stock wheels parked up near the finish line was mine! I was there for the RWYB. I ran a best of 11.508 @ 122.25. That time was good enough to win the Toyota/Lexus RWYB class and I went home with a nice little trophy!
  2. Yes someone else needs to win the trophy. I have won it for the last 3 JapShows - Sept 2012, June 2013 and now Sept 2013!
  3. No - it's only 570bhp approx at the flywheel!
  4. I had a great day at the JapShow Finale on Sunday. I ran my Supra in the RWYB and ran a best time of 11.74secs @ 121.4mph! This was good enough to win the RWYB Class B (for Toyota/Lexus) and take home a very nice trophy presented by Miss Santa Pod:d Simon

I managed a best time of 11.87secs @ 120.9mph early on Sunday morning which was the quickest time of the day in the Toyota RWYB class! I run a 6 speed with a PHR Stage 1 kit, HKS F-Con Pro V with drag radials. I agree that the times seemed to be getting slower through the day as the weather and track warmed up. Simon
  6. I also had a good day at the JapShow on Sunday. It was great to meet a number of fellow forum members in the staging lanes early on Sunday morning. I took part in the RWYB and ran a best of 11.87secs at 120.9mph. This was good enough to win the Toyota RWYB class and I came home with a nice little trophy! Also the sun was shining! A good day Simon
  7. How is the Supra Drag Tournament going to be run? Is it quickest et over the weekend wins? Sorry if this question is explained elsewhere - but I missed the original discussion thread on this event. Simon
  8. Thank for the comments I was just there for the test day on Saturday as I find it less busy on the track! The spec is as follows: 1993 Supra TT6 RZ (imported in 2002) Powerhouse Racing Single Turbo kit (stage 1) @ 21psi HKS cams (In 256/Ex 264) HKS Skyline fuel pump (280 lph) Blitz 850cc injectors HKS F-CON V Pro ECU - mapped by Abbey Motorsports 570bhp at flywheel Centreforce Dual Friction clutch DriveShaft Shop single piece crome moly propshaft TRD LSD Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Radials See picture from Ian Blackett site: http://www.blackettphotography.com/image.asp?eventplace=Japshow&eventdate=20120929&eventtime=1300-1305&image=_L4C1060.jpg Simon
  9. I went to the JapShow Finale test day on Saturday to run my Supra up the track. I ran a best time of 11.93 secs @ 120 mph and won the RWYB Class B (Toyota/Lexus)! I also ran a personal best 0-60ft time of 1.83secs! A good day! Simon
  10. I went to TRAX on Sunday to take part in the 0-60 sprint event. This takes place on the Stowe circuit which is away from the main show areas and therefore not many spectators. However I had a good day - my best time was 3.82 secs and I won the RWD class! Result! Simon
  11. I had a disappointing day yesterday. We had rain first thing and then again at lunchtime so the track never dried up. I only had 2 runs. My Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials give no grip on wet/damp tracks so I only ran a best of 19.27 for the 30-130 and 141.7 for top speed! At least I didn't come last! Best 30-130 yesterday was 6.38 by Andy Forrest in an Impreza and the top speed was 200.45 by another Impreza. Very impressive in the conditions. Simon
  12. I am going to this event on Sunday. Good luck for today (Saturday)!
  13. I have entered for this event on the Sunday (non MLR members/other marques day). Should be a good day!
  14. That is a good time considering how slippery the track was! I think we spoke at the 0-60 event - I was in the silver Supra. I ran a best time of 3.95 seconds which I think was the quickest time of the day until a Nissan GT-R ran 3.5!! Simon
  15. Thanks - yes the car is full factory weight. Got a Powerhouse Racing stage 1 single turbo conversion (about 580 bhp at the flywheel) - but too much power for the track yesterday! Simon
