  1. Errrr, yeah but the rear pads are half the size of the fronts...
  2. I'm a Glenmorangie man myself, probably offend the purists but I like the golden rum and port cask stuff. Can't stand Jim Beam or JD, horrible stuff. It's filtered and they still manage to make it taste grim.
  3. Just curious Tony as to why you used 2 fuses and wire runs for the pumps rather than 1 bigger one? If you blow one fuse it will presumably take out one pump only whereas if you had a single fuse it would either work or not. Was it just the gauge of wire you would need?

  5. More likely turbo seals, but check the oil isn't overfilled before panicking too much...
  6. The first thing you should do if you have light steering and an import is check the speed converter has been done properly. Often they are installed so the converted signal is fed into the ECU and therefore the feeds to other speed sensitive stuff which is Td off the wiring to the ECU. If so the speed sensitive steering thinks you are going slower than you are and gives too much assistance. The aircon also gets a bit confused and blows the fans too hard.
  7. The DOT bit is a standard that states the minimum temperature before the fluid boils. So any DOT 5.1 fluid has to meet the standard, but can exceed it if they want. So stuff like the Motul racing stuff exceeds DOT5.1, I suspect TRD is the same. Having said that, DOT5.1 is plenty high enough anyway, so the basic answer is no, not really!
  8. I've got the ones from my old engine Dan, they've done a couple of thousand miles if that. Only trouble is they're still in there round at the garage that did the swap. If you're not in too much of a hurry I can go over there and pull them out sometime.

Ah, those were the days, I remember that! You know nostalgia isn't what it used to be though...
  10. I used 45 degree fittings on the end that goes to the turbo, not 90, that should sort that one out.
  11. Well I for one am extremely disappointed . I thought it was Mycroft making a return...
  12. Brand new engine mate. Forged pistons & rods, Ferrea titanium valves & springs, blah blah blah. Bought it off Martin, it went in last week so I'm running it in atm.
  13. Actually I forgot I'm round a friends new house for a bit of an almost house warming tonight so I doubt I'll be up early enough tomorrow!
  14. I may well turn up for this, need to rack up some running in miles...
  15. Is it just the rail you want Dan? Dunno what they're worth really, £30 + postage?
  16. Ah yes, where did condition come from? Has Mawby been adding new functionality again, lol! Oops. They are used of course.

    Anyone off here?

What exactly is "very rare" about it?
  18. If you take more airflow out than you need across the board on the airflow adjustment, you can then add it back in using the injector adjustment, which is boost based. Then you can use the airflow table to make throttle related changes too.
  19. The first bits from my old engine that I no longer need: Intake runners - could be useful for someone who wants them polished? Stock fuel rail Stock 440cc injectors (I have 2 sets of these) Stock fuel pressure regulator (actually I have 2 of these) The injectors and reg are installed in the rail which is attached to the runners at the mo, but I can split them if required. Anyone want?
  20. Yeah, I'd rather the numpties that go overdrawn subsidise my free bank account so I don't have to pay for it...
  21. Yeah, you can just see the manifold - it's gone a sort of brown colour with heat! The turbo was just stuck on to check it would fit, so the compressor outlet is not at the right angle, but it is attached to the manifold, honest
  22. Because they are the Motec experts basically. Plus they mapped it originally and did a good job - they've mapped several Supras with Motecs so have good base maps etc.
  23. If you want to know why they aren't allowed, just look at Supraforums. Bloody annoying.
