I had more like 25deg difference when mine was in the sump. I've had it in a sandwich plate, in the sump and now it's where the oil feed for the 2nd turbo would normally be. Not much difference between there and the sandwich plate location.

Yep, I've got 2 sets actually. £50? You can't really see the intake runners that clearly in any of those engine component pics, but they are under the fuel rail and is the bit that connects the intake manifold to the side of the engine. Pic is attached...

The place I got my bullet cam from is http://www.rfconcepts.co.uk. You need to check your camcorder has a video input and then find somewhere secure to put the actual camera in the car. The other mount I have is a superclamp from b-hague - the link's in the above post. That goes onto my harness bar between the seats.

I've got one from my old engine if you want to make me an offer for it . It was a 1997 non-VVTI 6speed, not sure if they're the same or not. It was working fine when the engine came out.

I very much doubt it mate. I didn't notice any difference between a stock sidemount and my Blitz LM when I fitted it - that was on stock turbos at the time mind.

At the flow rates of air you get it's not going to make any practical difference. The increase in volume is tiny compared to the volume of air flowing through every second.

What else would you be doing on a track day? You don't go to tootle around! They have them on the pit straight normally, or out on another straight.

It is if you ever want to do a track day at most tracks these days. Open wastegate would fail the drive by noise checks for sure.

Yeah, take the tunnel, it's much better than the ferry, plus you're there in 25 minutes.

Especially if you don't fit new ones when you change pads, and they're not cheap. They are anti-squeel shims btw, not anti-rattle. The anti-rattle things are the springs that go on the back round the pins. -

I expect what's happened is he's knocked the ECU cover in the passenger footwell which has caused a dodgy connection to move, probably on your fuel cut defender if you have one... -

I like the way they said they weren't aware Whitchurch was a place name. WTF did they think it was? In any case, trademarks like these are only valid in the same field as the company involved. I could call myself Toyota and sell bananas or something and it wouldn't be a clash AFAIK. Madness!
