  1. You do get the warning light come on if you have the fogs on and press the brake pedal. I've never got round to fixing that...
  2. I'd be very interested in how you get on with Turbo Dynamics, and what their hybrids are like because they're just up the road. I've heard vaguely good things about them, but no real concrete info.
  3. I hear they do a good line in gold coloured paperweights, maybe they'll be selling those cheap...:flame Dev
  4. It also changes the slip settings for launches, until you've got going and it then reverts to normal. The best thing about it though is that it makes an awesome and very intimidating noise when you're bouncing off the rev limit with a Nur Spec exhaust...
  5. Apparently the bolts on the first cat can be a right sod to get off, and it looks very awkward, so like Steve I just got someone to do it.
  6. How about in the drivers sun visor? Could this be done?
  7. I should be up for this one, bearing in mind it's bloody ages away and my organisational skills don't really stretch beyond tomorrow...
  8. They are expensive, but not stupidly so. You can hook it up to an Emanage, that's about all I know about them. Have a look at http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/, site in the States with loads of info about them and the Emanage too.
  9. Nice one Tim, glad it's not just me that's anal about these things!
  10. I've got several gadgets now in my dash, including the RLTC controls that I took out the box and integrated into the dash, and a couple of switches. Only thing is there is no lettering to say what is what, or lines to show what setting the RLTC is on etc. Anyone know of a way of doing this? It would need transfers or something I suppose. Has anyone else with their RLTC controls in the dash bothered with anything like that? Just thougt it would be a nice finishing touch...
  11. I could definitely be persuaded to buy a set of these...

    Undetray

So what does everyone do when fitting aftermarket bumpers then, take the front undertray off? I was thinking of getting a FMIC next year, and aftermarket bumper to get more air to it. Don't think I fancy losing the undertray though...
  13. I had mine checked when I bought some new tyres a while back at Micheldever. It was near enough the stock settings so I left it at the time. I'll be very tempted to get it changed next time I need some tyres. Mind you, they made a bit of an arse of the balancing, I had to get them re-balanced in the middle of France, they were pissing me off so much!
  14. 160 quid from CW plus a few quid fitting, you know it makes sense!
  15. I've used EasyTrack and they were very good, and cheaper than most (especially GoldTrack who seem to charge a fortune). I think there's more to it than just the time you get on track though, like whether there are instructors available if you want and how much they cost, how good the marshalling is etc. I've not been on an open pit lane one, but I think I prefer the session based ones. At least you know there are only a certain number of cars on track at once, and most places group cars and drivers of roughly the same speed together to try and reduce traffic problems. Plus you are forced to come in and let your car cool down every so often. I'd be tempted to bomb round all day and break something otherwise ...
  16. Look like small ones to me. Here's a pic of the large ones (without a wheel...)
  17. LOL, I have done exactly that at work before. Highly embarrasing. Also, my RLTC settings were definitely scrambled by a jump start. Had to jump the car in Spain this summer after I'd left it with the interior light on for 2 days (bloody passenger!). The cut table was slightly scrambled and no longer a uniform pattern, which led to it juddering when it cut if you see what I mean. My ABS warning light ame on and stayed on until I stopped the car and started it again a while later too.
  18. 4.9 is the official figure I believe, although I've also seen 5.1 somewhere...

    Rltc

Same here, wet when it's a monsson, 5% in the wet and 20% in the dry usually, but I find it allows too much slip in a straight line compared to cornering, so I'm going to change my straight line override thingy when I get round to borrowing my mate's laptop...
  20. The thread in question is here (feeling helpful today, but don't worry, it won't last )
  21. You have to replace the whole fan unit I believe, there isn't a separate thing that tells it when to come on, that's what I was saying. There was a thread on here a while ago about it, if you search for viscous it should turn it up.
  22. Looks like a Trust/GReddy front lip. Takakaira link.
  23. What sort of rear fog light setup have you got, is it a stick on one or has someone converted the rear lights somehow? If so they've probably done it in a crap way. There's a better way using relays so you get four rear lights with them both acting as brake lights normally, and the inner two become fogs only when you turn them on. Details on Pete Betts site here . It's under Supra/Supra down the bottom.
  24. The Supra has a viscous fan, not an electric one. The engine turns the fan pulley all the time, but the blades only become fixed to it and turn when it gets to a certain temperature. So there isn't a a bimetallic thingy that tells the fan when to come on.
  25. It must be something in the air down here in Bournemouth, I had to top mine up and put it on charge last night! It was OK this morning, but I might get a new one anyway.
