  1. Stock boost is 0.75ish, so you've definitely got less than 2 cats, an aftermarked exhaust, a bleed valve or something or a leak in a hose somewhere

Can you get me a price for the side skirts while you're at it Gaz?

I should get yourself off to bed, never mind a price mate

Aha, you mean this one:- http://www.bomex.co.jp/item_img/10121110001.jpg I like that actually, and the sideskirts look nice too. Only trouble is there's nowhere for my facelift indicator/sidelights, like the MR Top Secret copy. Unless they just go in the side vents I suppose, like the original. What sort of price are we looking at Isn't it the middle of the night in Japan atm?

Well, I want one with a nice big hole for the FMIC, not so much to show it off but there doesn't seem much point in having one having half of it out of the airstream. I figure the more air going through it and to the rad the better! Don't really want anything too fussy or outrageous - the Bomex F&TF one for example I find a bit fiddly. What did you have in mind? Matt - I'd be interested to see how you get on with Dudes. Always good to have a guinee pig! When's it going on?

Got to admit, I like the Do Luck more the more I look at it . I'm sure I'd scrape the hell out of it though! Anyone got any experience of the Retaliator Do Luck replica stuff?
  7. Is that yet another pic of the back of WSB2s car (12) ? Were we supposed to be going somewhere afterwards then? I didn't know anything about that, so I headed home!

Not sure what you mean . You mean put a sidelight in the main lights? I kind of like the facelift lights as they are...
  9. Oooh, harsh . Made her walk home too, you cad! I think we should officially hold SteveW2s beer dept fulfilled after that mammoth round he bought. On second thoughts, it was only soft drinks... It was a cool convoy out of Southampton. Oh, and sorry to whoever it was I pulled out in front of in the outside lane after a numpty pulled on to the dual carriageway right in front of me! Dunno what was going on on the spur road.
  10. Ok peeps, since I will shortly be receiving my shiny new FMIC, I'm trying to decide what front bumper to go for to get some air through it. I really like the Top Secret, but it's far too expensive, and the Miami Rice copy is no good to me as it doesn't have indicator holes which would mean I'd lose my sidelights (facelift car). So I've narrowed it down to the Whifbitz one, or DoLuck (either genuine or the Retaliator copy). Has anyone got any comments about the fit/quality etc of these? Or any comments at all come to mention it ? Some pics:- WhifBitz http://www.garagedynamics.com/marcus/98supra/supra3.JPG http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/images/parts/whifbitz-frontbumper.jpg Do-Luck http://www.do-luck.com/img/toyota/supra/80late/main.jpg I'll do this one as a link because the piccy is a bit big (great pic though)Do-Luck
  11. Hey, good of you to get the beer in ready for us (right of pic)!
  12. Oh right, yeah, mine's a later one that has one of these things where you tell it the weight of the car and it estimates the power from the acceleration. Rest should be the same though. I used it in Europe last year as a speedo like you said. Bloody handy.
  13. Good question that! I can't believe that Toyota would have different suspension settings or anything for cars with 16s and 17s, and the 17s have always been an option I believe. I guess 6mm at the front and 7 at the rear is just too small to matter. You've got the same size as the standard 17s anyway (assuming you've got 255 40 R17 on the back). Supras do look like they "sit up" a bit at the front anyway.
  14. It depends how your speed convertor is fitted. If you have one of TRLs wired in properly then the feed to the ECU will be the normal unconverted signal to avoid problems with the progressive power steering, cruise control etc. I have an RSM, and I wired the speed wire in behind the speedo. In fact, what I did was wire up a switch that connects it to either the converted signal (from the speedo) or unconverted (that goes to the rest of the car) so I can switch between KPH and MPH (it still says KPH on the display though). If you just have it wired up to the converted MPH wire you will also find that the power function won't work properly, because it expects to be seeing a speed in KPH to work it out from.
  15. What speed convertor have you got? Sounds like a problem with that. The earlier TRL ones occasionally did a similar thing (mine does it occasionally but only up to 60 or so). It's something to do with it glitching when then pulses are very slow. Pete fixed it on the later ones with a new software version IIRC, but I could never be arsed to send mine back to be changed...
  16. This is going to rival Billing at this rate! The Angel's completely out of my way to get to Southampton, but sod it, I'll see you there anyway. Unless I'm really hung over and get up too late that is...
  17. Don't suppose you'd care to share any of them, as I'll be changing mine soonish...
  18. How about this : http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/getrag/repair/index.html.
  19. Have a look on http://www.mkiv.com/manual/index.html. There's auto and manual gearbox diagrams etc there.
  20. The warning light comes on the first time you hit the brakes with the fogs on and then stays on until you turn the ignition off and on again. It's fine if you don't have the fogs on though. That's what mine does anyway. I think there's a way of stopping it, but I never got round to it, because I hardly ever use the rear fogs anyway.
