  1. Should add this to the FAQ along with the red button on autos.
  2. Have a pint of the black beside me now as it happens. Do the gentlemanly thing and knock a few back in her stead Will prod it into doing a few laps. Eyes not open yet so still a bit wobbly. Off to google how long it takes for them to walk!
  3. Update for those glued to this: The one surviving kitten is doing great, feeding fom the mother and being babysat by the dog. Only problem is that it's suckling for 4 and is too fat to walk!!
  4. Agreed. Also check the wheel liner to see if there's any rubbing occuring.
  5. Actually it's a 3 speed with overdrive. See FAQ guide below: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=86128
  6. Ta for all the advice, unfortunately lost 3 of the 4 poor blighters overnight. 1 left, looking like it'll need hand rearing, the mother keeps leaving it to get cold. Never having kids!
  7. Just wrap it up beforehand and you'll be fine....
  8. My cat had kittens on Friday, was a big suprise as we thought it was a Tom! One of the four isn't able to suckle and is very dehydrated looking. Off to get a syringe to try feed iy myself but is there anything else I should be doing?
  9. If it is only studding, it should be fine to remove, the span doesn't look too big between the two outside walls. **HOWEVER** I have seen all kinds of building techniques and wouldn't go whacking away at it without being sure what was behind the plaster. You won't do any damage if you carefully remove the plasterwork to reveal the timber framing. Anything larger than 4x2" or doubled up might be structural. You may need to take down the ceiling if the joists overlap at the studding and are supported from below. If you're a rank amatuer, get professinal advice. Get 2 or 3 quotes from a builder/carpenter, at the very least you'll need someone to make good where the studding hits the external walls.
  10. I feel a competition coming on....!
  11. Any hardware shop. Rough guide is to go for Fluke, or spend more than 50 quid on one! If you're friendly with an electrician or mechanic they'd likely have one. Dublin is pi**ing rain as usual.
  12. Those wheels are really growing on me... typically I've just bought a different set!
  13. Make sure your alternator is not also knakered. When you do eventually get it running, get a dcent volt meter and take a reading (cheap ones won't give you anything like an accurate reading). 12v or less and you might be in for another bill. Should produce 14v.
  14. Might get one and resray it....! ...and bypass the silly bodykit mod making it go faster!
  15. Robbed from Supraforums, was on a thread about painting the lip if that helps. Think it's silver but at night/flouescent lighting makes it look darker.
  16. It's on my list of stuff to do, good example pic attached. (I know it's an old thread this time but since I'm not the only one now...!)
  17. Go talk to the manager of the station or get on to Maxol themselves. Can't hurt to give them a nudge. Short skirt might help
  18. From Maxol.ie " The Octane Rating of Ordinary unleaded ranges from 95.0 to 95.9 – average 95.5. The Octane rating of E5 is higher and has been measured at 99. " Didn't think it was that high. That should be problems solved so. Question becomes "how do I get more ethanol to take it over 100 Ron"
  19. I stand corrected... I meant E5 not E85. Cheers.
  20. No, I didn't.... Claire did :p If you just disconnect the battery for 5-10 mins it resets the battery (I think) Easier than pulling fuses.
  21. It's the only answer!! Hopefully TT swap next year but till then.
  22. Don't have a spare 2 grand at the mo! Yep, just for **its and giggles, monkey see monkey do.
  23. About 3 years ago I rang/emailed all of the bigger fuel suppliers in Ireland, none carry anything above 95, except for Maxol's e85 which has only just ben introduced.
