Update for those glued to this: The one surviving kitten is doing great, feeding fom the mother and being babysat by the dog. Only problem is that it's suckling for 4 and is too fat to walk!!

Agreed. Also check the wheel liner to see if there's any rubbing occuring.

If it is only studding, it should be fine to remove, the span doesn't look too big between the two outside walls. **HOWEVER** I have seen all kinds of building techniques and wouldn't go whacking away at it without being sure what was behind the plaster. You won't do any damage if you carefully remove the plasterwork to reveal the timber framing. Anything larger than 4x2" or doubled up might be structural. You may need to take down the ceiling if the joists overlap at the studding and are supported from below. If you're a rank amatuer, get professinal advice. Get 2 or 3 quotes from a builder/carpenter, at the very least you'll need someone to make good where the studding hits the external walls.

Any hardware shop. Rough guide is to go for Fluke, or spend more than 50 quid on one! If you're friendly with an electrician or mechanic they'd likely have one. Dublin is pi**ing rain as usual.

Make sure your alternator is not also knakered. When you do eventually get it running, get a dcent volt meter and take a reading (cheap ones won't give you anything like an accurate reading). 12v or less and you might be in for another bill. Should produce 14v.

Might get one and resray it....! ...and bypass the silly bodykit mod making it go faster!

No, I didn't.... Claire did :p If you just disconnect the battery for 5-10 mins it resets the battery (I think) Easier than pulling fuses.

About 3 years ago I rang/emailed all of the bigger fuel suppliers in Ireland, none carry anything above 95, except for Maxol's e85 which has only just ben introduced.
