  1. They look very much like mr2 items to me
  2. I had my way (ooh er!) on a backroad with a mk4 astra gsi in my old s14a, and it was completely standard. I think it looks more like the new volvo s40 (if the were ever to bring out a coupe version)
  3. I would be careful about where you duct the air from, I've heard nightmare stories of similar modifications done to nissan 200sx's, that end up with an aqua-locked engine when they drive through a puddle at any kind of speed.
  4. At the fuel cap for the white NA How can people think that a £20 stick on fake filler cap can improve the looks of one of the best looking cars on the road...

    headlights ?

Any decent glass supplier should be able to polish the lines from glass headlights, but this will seriously affect the performance of the lights, especially on full beam. I think the yellowing on the earlier jap import cars is due to the chrome surface constantly reflecting light back onto the inside of the plastic lenses (probably because of the huge chromed areas on these). I've seen plenty of other types jap import cars with plastic lights that do not suffer from this phenomenon.
  6. Do you mean a good one and a bad one, or a heavily modified one and a fairly standard one?
  7. That's what I was after. An auto it is then http://www.findit.co.uk/cars/toyota/supra/419912.php Seen the above for sale, does anybody know this car? Looks perfect, but that's usually when things tend to go wrong...
  8. Do both of these cars have the same top end speed, and how much does acceleration differ?
  9. Is that the one with the Merc clk front end? That car tried out for a minor part in 2 fast2 furious if its the same one
  10. Wish I could post something on the auction...
  11. Ok, it's looking even worse. I've just been looking at this persons ebay history, and it appears he has just been buying loads of very cheap items to bump his ebay level up. only appears to be 1 or 2 legitimate transactions...
  12. I guess loosing £6.99 is better than £10k in the long run
  13. Does anybody know of a legitimate uk tt 6/a for sale at the moment?
  14. I think the fact it runs an Mr2 turbo engine is more impressive!!!
  15. Just carried out a hpi check with ebay. It's previously been written off, and has a mileage discrepancy! I think i'll email him and thank him for wasting my £6.99!!!
  16. I'm still a bit undecided about the colour though...
  17. Did yours have a meshed front grille? My ld s14a had 115k and the steering wheel was mush better than that.
  18. This Supra has recently appeared on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1993-TOYOTA-SUPRA-Twin-Turbo-UK-Model_W0QQitemZ4615022556QQcategoryZ18290QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem At a first glance, it looks like incredible value for money, but a closer ook at the pictures shows excessive steering wheel wear, and the car has no service history after 39k. I get the feeling there's a bit more to this Supra than meets the eye, but I would appreciate any comments on this as otherwise it's exactly what i'm after.
  19. My other car was a corrado. I wonder if i could get away with putting some vw badges on it?...
  20. To be honest i'm more bothered about going to worthersee in austria. Going to a vw show there, and they don't seem too keen on jap cars out there (nodoubt it will get vandalised by a euro vw fan who thinks his 1.3 g40 polo has a chance against my supe )
  21. I can't wait. only downside is the 2-3000 miles i'll be doing (more to do withthe 2-3000 miles at 20 mpg ) and the 5-10mpg i'll get on the 13 mile circuit!!!
  22. I should maybe have worded that better, I wasn't trying to start another UK vs J spec argument. (has to be a UK for insurance) sorry guys
  23. I'm planning a trip accross europe during the summer, including a few cheeky laps of the Nurburgring in Germany, going to Worthersee in Austria, and a stop in Amsterdam I'm almost certain a UK spec supra is the way to go, due to its superior long distance cruising ability, but i'm not sure how a standard one would take to the race track. This got me thinking that maybe a Honda Integra type R is maybe a better bet, as it's quick, has excellent handling as standard and would be much more friendly n the juice than a supra (although i'm lead to believe they aren't much fun on a motorway due to little sound deadening) has anybody on here done a similar trip in a supra? any thoughts would be greatly appreciated
