  1. Yes its parallel, Didnt see any one mention sequential or you just asking ? Cheers, Should of cleaned it first, its pretty packed in there, when i had all the head off there was a lot to come off thats for sure.
  2. Ok cheers guys will try a few more of these, tried sky, adrian flux,bell/elephant/admiral,cis,Quinn, lots of internet sites also, looked at owners forums etc, phoned all i can find in max power, fast car, redline. if civic was standard then he could get insured no problem at all, the trouble with the glanza is noone seems to have that model on their data base only the older starlet up till 95. I know its because the car is modded but he can get insured on a UK spec standard supra for £2100 lol this does make it all a bit crazy the way the insurance game works. Dont you think ?
  3. Hi guys my son has a modified Honda civic jordan 185bhp he is 19 years old and been driving for 2 years claim free etc, he cannot get any fully comp insurance on it as its modified and he does not have any no claims as been on my policy to date. Also cannot get insured on a Toyota glanza 1.3 turbo as its import and not on most insurers computers, and also his age again. Tried Adrian flux, etc etc just cannot get insured any suggestions would be welcome. cheers.
  4. They can be really hard to get off, That double sided sticky tape would stop the santa pod rocket car from moving best thing to do is warm it up with a hair drier dont over heat the paint though. Scrape the tape up and pick off as much as you can as mentioned earlier with lolly sticks or something that will not dig into the paint or you will need respray Then use petrol and some mutton cloth to remove the thinner clue that is left. On a previous sup i had to use a really fine wet and dry to get rid of the marks that were left and then compound, T cut and polish to get the shine back again. but you must go very very carefull as you can easily rub it back to the base primer and then its respray time again.
  5. Hi thanx, unfortunately I dont have much time on my hands at the moment and even if i did i am not sure if i would attempt to do this on other peoples lights , it did take a while to do and one false move and the light is fudged completely, (came quite close to this, but was lucky) it is also very tricky getting a good seal to stop water and condensation getting into the lights, while at the same time not getting too much glue all over the place. Voo51 will pm you how i did it but will be later in week as i am very busy ripping up my floor trying to sort out some woodworm the little bas***ds, How dare they take up my time when i could be working on my sup.
  6. Happy birthday m8 hope you have a good one

  8. Yeah sure heres a couple.
  9. have you checked to make sure the rear gearbox seal hasnt gone, this will leak out and get on the exhaust especially when booting it which then causes the oil burning smell,
  10. Hi Ark i have these fitted to my car which has a twin Greddy turbo set up on it.
  11. Hi guys thanks for that, the light turned out ok but it took quite a while to do, do you think it looks ok in black or should i get a stainless rim/tube made up ? Car needs a bit more tidying a few rough bits on wings etc.
  12. Hi vicki that was my car i done it myself it can be tricky and one wrong move can mess your lights for good, they are not legal and will fail an mot so you either have to get a spare light to swop over so it will pass or you need to know a mot tester who you are friendly with. cheers
  13. Speak to Lucifer he seems quite good on his prices to supply and map an AEM, not yet got one myself as other priorities to take care of first, but he even offered to pick up car as part of the service.
  14. But if you know a man who can !!! its not a problem, but for some people finding such a man can be difficult.
  15. Hi Mark here is a photo of the sheet for extra times etc, Car is only running on 500bhp at mo, (need to get another ecu and upgrade fuelling so keeping it turned down at the moment) turbos are capable of 800bhp+ @29psi so if the upgrades come off hopefully next year could be getting some much better times. Running on street tyres, i have heard that reducing the tyre pressure helps ? if so what pressure would be good ? Cheers Steve
  16. Personally i wouldnt trust paypal either, only i sold an item to someone and it said `cleared funds` so i sent item a few days l8r they then took the money back out and put refunded as the buyer did not have enough money in their bank account, luckily the guy was ok so he sent me a cheque. There have been quite a few stories of paypal givin refunds to buyers who claim to have a dispute with the item they have purchased, without even mailing the seller first to get their side of things. If it was me id get them to do a bank transfer from their account direct to yours and then check its cleared before you send item out.
