  1. Would anyone happen to have a spare center cap for the TTE alloys that came on the MK1 Lexus GS300 Sport? One of mine has just 'done a runner' somewhere along the M6 Im after the alloy center cap, not the plastic version. Example pic attached below. Cheers Simon
  2. Sorry, I had to post this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MAKE-ANY-TOYOTA-MR2-SUPRA-CELLICA-SOUND-TURBO-CHARGED_W0QQitemZ8020864919QQcategoryZ38786QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Mods, sorry if this isnt the right forum to post this, please deal as you see fit.
  3. Envy do a 'cold air box' for induction kits that mate to the original cold air intakes. I'm tempted to make one in carbon (bling) and get some heat resistant insulation tape on the external engine-facing sides to deal with the heat.
  4. I made my own heat shield from some sheet aluminium, took all of 20 minutes
  5. Anyone know if I can do a straight swap from a HKS Mushroom to an an Apexi filter using the same induction pipe? (I think its a HKS pipe)
  6. In my short time as a member here I've seen numerous posts on induction kits, and seen people recommend APEXI over other makes such as HKS, BLITZ and K&N. From the posts I've read, many comments where made to "tests show that..." but I cant remember seeing a link, so after some 'googling' I found the following 2 links on another Supra site: :: http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/1/ :: http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/2/ Hope they're of use. I think I need to change my HKS for an Apexi
  7. I was at an ESSO garage earlier in the week filling up my other car and noticed they now do a 97 RON fuel also. Havent tried it in my Supra yet though....anyone else tried it?
  8. Having just found out that Haynes don't do a manual for the MKIV Supra (please correct me if Im wrong), I came across the following items on ebay: :: Toyota JDM EPC (apparently good for getting part no's) :: Supra Workshop Manual on CD I have a J-Spec 95 RZ TT, has anyone else here bought such a thing and was it useful? ( Im on about the manuals, not the supra ) Cheers
  9. Cheers, No mods planned in the near future due to xmas, but may look into the following next year: Cosmetic :: OEM/Carbon Dash Kit (I have a couple scratches on mine and Im a tad fussy lol) :: OEM Skirts :: Do-Luck/Stillen front bumper :: TRD Bonnet Performance :: FMIC ICE :: Alpine N099P Sat Nav head unit Quite tame compared to some
  10. Cheers for the heads up, I'll keep an eye on it
  11. Do these grills come with the trim on the edge of the mesh or is it just the mesh itself?
  12. I think I'll make one then, better get an empty washing up bottle, some double-sided sticky tape and my DVD collection of Blue Peter.
  13. Thats one tidy looking car Peter, if it werent for the bonnet scoop and clear indicators, they could have been seperated at birth lol, if you think that looks tight, you should see how narrow the drive looks when Im sticking the Supra in the garage (I wont be getting a TRD3000GT widebody kit on it, put it that way!)
  14. Looks like an international conspiracy to nick all the passenger side rear arch liners from Supras lol.
  15. I have the silver disklok on my other car. Its pricey and my insurance company didnt give a damn about it (it didnt reduce the cost of my policy), but it takes something like 10+ minutes to break (it says the time on the box somewhere), which is hopefully more than enough time for someone to be alerted assuming your car alarm is wailing away all the time
  16. Thanks guys, I really like the Lexus Wheels, and they're in mint condition (never been kerbed). Just looking to get some locking nuts and center cap 'screws' for them. I've been driving it like an old woman since I've had it, and today I had to take it out in the snow to get a radio band expander fitted. I had to crawl down my road in 1st gear at no more than 5mph as the backend went a bit happy (only in a small way though)...and that was with me no more than 'breathing' on the loud pedal. The fact our road wasnt gritted didnt help, but it was fine when I got onto some main roads Yeah, 2 small ones that Im not bothered about, 1 on the front bumper, 1 on the rear...thats it (hopefully I wont add to that tally)
  17. Can anyone confirm if the passenger side rear arch should have a plastic inner liner at the rear (behind the wheel)? I have one on the drivers side, but only just noticed today that I didnt have one on the passenger side, and whilst driving the car in the rain there was noticeably more 'road noise' from the passenger rear. I recently had an alarm fitted and am wondering if it may have been removed for whatever reason (I cant think of one, but who knows lol). Cheers Simon
  18. Hello, Thought I'd follow in the 'pround new owner' footsteps and post up a couple pics of my new Supra that I recently purchased from Jurgen. Its a 6sp manual 95 TT RZ in the best colour ever - silver Its my first Supra and my first RWD car, I've wanted one since before I could drive and now Im living the dream If any non-supra owner is reading this, and your looking for a supra, I can recommend Jurgen (Jurgen-Jm-Imports). He's a friendly chap and upfront with you about any defects (scratches, etc) on the car. Regards Simon
  19. Was there no CCTV? Sorry to see that, I'd be well peeved off. Most likely the idiot who did it didnt have insurance, or is just a tw*t (and one who cant drive at that!). Last night I had a basketball game in Stalybridge, left my other car (Seat Alhambra) on the leisure sites car park and came back to find some tossers had been throwing bricks @ cars and put one of my windows in and left a nice dent in the body work also.
  20. Im 28 with 1yrs NCB and have just bought my 1st Supra from Jurgen on these forums. I got a quote from Sky around the £1300 range, fully comp, agreed value, like for like on the mods, with 2 additional drivers....which I thought was great given my NCB. I then thought I'd try Lancaster Insurance as well since my J-Spec Supra is 10yrs old and qualified for their classic car policy. I was quoted around the £800 mark for a policy with: limited mileage (6000), fully comp, agreed value, like for like on mods with 2 additional drivers. Im now insured with them. The excess is £120. I believe their underwriters are Lloyds, but, unlike Sky you do have to tell them what your mods do, and what your estimated bhp is with the mods. Its best to phone them up rather than using their online form as it doesnt collect enough information about your car. I would recommend either company.
  21. LMAO, I was thinking WTF until I read the last 2 words
  22. £300 Be better spent renting a JCB so you can dig up the speed humps.
  23. Maybe its an anti-theft device?....who would nick it?
