  1. Im pretty sure Ive seen people suggest the cig lighter also.
  2. Some general SMIC info here (also mentions CW SMIC): http://www.max-boost.co.uk/max-boost/intake/intercooler_2JZGTE.htm
  3. Speedbumps, the most annoying thing on the road bar speed cameras and BMW drivers Theres a speedhump on the entrance/exit to a petrol station near me - I dont use it anymore since it always scrapes the arse of my exhaust - and my exhaust has good ground clearance. Its scraped so many cars that it now has huge gouges in it! Put a claim in with the local council/highways agency....after all, your not paying road tax to have your car damaged!
  4. Paul, Silver bonnet + carbon fibre vents = the dogs nuts
  5. Don't suppose anyone would have a spare set of OEM skirts and spats I could 'borrow' to make a make a mould of? git>
  6. Graham, Look for some local composite companies (unless your looking for a metal bonnet) and see what services they offer and what prices they charge. Given the size of the Supra bonnet, I'd expect a mould to be around £500 or more, with the cost of an actual bonnet varying depending on what you want it made from (carbon, kevlar/carbon, GRP, mash potato ). You could always recoup the cost of the mould (and possibly your bonnet) by selling them onto other Supra owners, but then you'd lose your uniqueness

Wankers! Get some CCTV, its quite affordable these days. Just had a flyer sent to my company for: http://www.excelptz.com/web/docs/outdoor.htm
  8. Cheers Migster, I'll have a butchers at it next chance I get
  9. Given your bad luck with bumpers, maybe something a little more solid is needed...
  10. Dont bother fixing it, use it as a mad max like chav battering ram, if you see a chav car, give it the good news and some new paint
  11. My 95 RZ TT came with an FCON-V and Boost Controller and I was wondering if the previous owner may have upgraded the injectors (I don't see why he would install the above as car still has both cats in!). I believe the stock JSpec injectors are grey. I've check mine and I would say my injectors look more GREEN than GREY, what do you reckon? PS: Yes I have misspelled grey in the title
  12. Interesting article on stock SMIC and airflow design: http://www.max-boost.co.uk/max-boost/intake/intercooler_2JZGTE.htm
  13. I read this thread earlier and went to check my injectors since my 95 RZ TT came with an FCON-V and Boost Controller and I was wondering if the previous owner may have upgraded the injectors (dont see why he would install the above as car still has both cats in!). I would say my injectors look more GREEN than GREY, what do you reckon?
  14. Do you have a boost gauge?...if so does your boost drop when tubby #2 should come online around 4000 rpm? If yes to the above, check your vac hoses for splits as it could be boost leak preventing/delaying the #2 tubby pre-spooling.
  15. I sent an email today @ 19:40 to [email protected], I'll assume you never recieved it with the domain issue. Would [email protected] be your new email address?
  16. I've noticed my petrol lasting a little longer, last time I calculated my MPG I was getting 12 - and thats without booting it. I blame my FCON for that, it was obviously mapped to 'rape my wallet'. Slightly off-topic - apparently the best time to fill up your car is when its cold outside (ie: early hours of the morning) as you get more fuel for your money!
  17. I have a modded supra and punto in the PC version, the punto kicks the supra's arse :: My Supra :: My Punto
  18. Supragal, SORN must be renewed every 12 months from first declaring SORN. :: http://www.direct.gov.uk/Motoring/OwningAVehicle/UntaxedVehicle/UntaxedVehicleArticles/fs/en?CONTENT_ID=4022058&chk=LT7VlS . If your V5 doesnt have a unique ref no, you may have to phone the DVLA and get a new one sent out.
  19. Why not get custom ones: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=67964
  20. Cheers, your tuppence is greatly appreciated It is a Jap FCON unit that came with the car. Im decatting soon to go BPU, so I may remove the FCON and get a FCD as I only intend to run 1.0 bar (just to play it safe incase it boosts over 1.0 bar). Hopefully the stock ECU is ok with that, but I'll look into the Emanage unit and have a kind word with my wallet to see what it reckons Cheers Simon
  21. Cheers chaps, I've passed your comments onto him
  22. I wonder how many members will 'just happen to be passing' Jurgens next week ...you'd better stock up on teabags m8
  23. Great, now Ive got to find another £650!!! Those seats looks really nice
  24. Hi Ive got a friend who owns an imported R33 GTR. Recently whilst driving it the gearbox stuck in 3rd gear and he couldnt get it out of gear until the gearbox had cooled down. He drained the gearbox oil and noticed a small piece of metal which 'had features'. He thinks it may be part of the selector system, and doesnt appear to be a bearing or part of a gear. Is this a common fault on these cars?....and are gearbox issues a big £££ issue on them? Cheers Simon
  25. Sorry to hear that Pete, you've just prompted me to get mine off the road and back in the garage for the night. Im hoping your new polisher does the trick m8.
