  1. Their "Supra 7" looks cool too (Supra RX7 Hybrid)
  2. I hope he's alright, I've ordered a dash panel set from him
  3. ...don't forget to bill the c*nts responsible for the offending speed humps. After all, they damaged your car.
  4. You could, but you'd need a baseball bat to act as translator with his knees

    Lucky Escape

Its not something I'd like to experience, but this guy has a very lucky escape: :: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_xq7-y5CkI ....I bet he went out and bought a lottery ticket later in the day too!
  6. If theyre not deep scratches you could try to polish them out with a fine rubbing compound.
  7. Just been browsing eBay like you do when your bored waiting for a chippy tea to arrive Came across 2 sets of 9 spoke 18" Lexus alloys for the GS300 (see my garage for examples). I am not the seller, nor do I know the seller(s): :: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lexus-18-Alloy-Wheels-x4-for-GS300-Sport-Mk1-95-97_W0QQitemZ320016665057QQihZ011QQcategoryZ28648QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem :: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LEXUS-GS-300-GS300-SPORT-ALLOY-WHEELS-TYRES_W0QQitemZ150023706138QQihZ005QQcategoryZ100915QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem (not sure if this set have wider deep-dished rears!)

From what I've read a sandwich plate would be ideal in your scenario where you want to monitor 2 oil measurements (temp/pressure). Lucifer (mkivstore) does a greddy version. I think Paul (miami-gt) has something similar (oil filter relocation kit).
  9. I think the bolts holding it in are either 10mm or 12mm. You may have to take your wheel off to gain enough access to the bolts. EDIT: Oops, the above was for the side-vent-thingy that is fixed to the inside of the arch Having just re-read your question I think your asking about the trim above the sideskirt just before the rear wheel. There are 2 plastic lugs at the rear of this trim (nearest the wheel) that you need to remove (see pic below). There are 2 bolts underneath that go into the sill that need removing (I think they are 12mm). Once you have them out there are several 'push' clips that will give with a gentle pull.
  10. Going off this PDF document, a 93-95 RZ model had smaller brakes as standard with the option of bigger brakes. In 1995 the RZ model was split into the RZ-S (95-97) and the *new* RZ (95-97). The RZ-S had smaller brakes as standard with the option of bigger brakes. The RZ had bigger brakes as standard. 'Facelift' models are 97+ models. Out of all import 'facelift' models, only the 97-02 RZ model had bigger brakes as standard. The SZ, SZ-R, SZ-R Aerotop and RZ-S all had smaller brakes as standard, but all had the option of bigger brakes.

This really annoys me, we pay road tax to maintain the roads and yet loads of them have pot holes/poor surfaces. I'd try to bill whoever is responsible for maintaining the road for damaging your car. Its not like big pot holes just magically appear so no doubt the council already knew about it.
  12. See the link below for info on Induction Kit tests: :: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=53502
  13. Yeah, it can be a real PITA when it comes to selling a car, time wasters, dreamers, no shows, etc.

    GP Masters

Mansell has a bad weekend altogether. First, the makers of the engines discovered hairline fractures in the cams from the previous race so used different profile cams for this one, but with them not being properly tested about a dozen or more engines blew up in practice early in the week. So the engine makers have been working solid for the last 3 days rebuilding all the engines. I think Mansell had a water pipe burst during his qualifying which caused him to spin out (water on rear tyres). He didnt have time to get it fixed and get back out...hence he started so far back on the grid. He then suffered from an exploding diff as he made his way from the pits to the grid (they didnt realise this was the problem till he retired later). He came in after the 1st parade lap as he spun out and said the car was undriveable. They found an alignment issue with car and corrected it so he went back out and spun again. Credit to him and his team though, he did make 3 attempts to join the race.
  15. Dont forget to add on your ebay description: "No knob heads please"

  17. Thats just utter mindless vandalism. Did you get the police to check for fingerprints? they may have left some on the front wings/bonnet to key the middle of the bonnet where they have, they'd have had to reach over to get to that. Gutted for you pal
  18. Isnt Hogans a TRD Widebody one?
  19. Would anyone be able to confirm that the thread size for the sump plug on a J-Spec Pre-facelift (95) Supra TT is M12 x 1.25? Cheers Simon
  20. Exactly, I do around 4000 miles a year in my Supe, my neighbour with a 1.3 fiesta does around 16,000 miles....who is going to pollute more in a given year. I think we should abolish ROAD TAX and add it to fuel, that way EVERYONE on the road pays (that'll piss off road tax dodgers). http://www.lesstaxonfuel.co.uk/images/SportcarDW.jpg

    Car tax

So the Government are saying that taxing raping UK motorists will stop global warming? Sky news had a tree hugger and a motorist association as guests to discuss this around lunchtime, going off rough figures transport is 1/3 the cause of emissions, but if you break transport down into the various types (train, bus, plane, lorry, bike, car, etc)....cars only account for 20% (if that) of transport vehicles. Its going to get to the point in this country where people will buy guns and shoot the people responsible for coming up with ideas like this. I for one am totally fed up with Labour and these moronic 'think tank' groups they love. The problem with global warming lies with China and the US, the 2 biggest polluters - I fail to see how bullying uk motorists will help the problem on a larger scale. box>
  22. It amazes me how many people morons think a truck can stop as quick as a car, they have no appreciation for the weight of these vehicles. I've seen several trucks slam on locking their wheels after some idiot has pulled infront of them, I've also had it happen whilst I was overtaking a lorry on the M6 and it was a brown trouser moment for several of us. If I was a lorry driver (dont worry, Im not lol), I'd have just slammed on in a straight line, if you wipe the idiot out who cut you up so be it, after all its one less idiot at the end of the day. Why swerve and ruin someone elses day. Sorry about your car John, hopefully it wont be too costly nor time consuming to fix it back like new.
  23. Exactly mate, which is why I havent been to them. Think I'll leave it a while or just bin my FCON unit
  24. I emailed Hyper Sports & Racing (in Wigan) regarding their ability to map HKS FCON units, here's the reply I got: Maybe contact them and ask them if they are able to map them now, though you may want to use someone who has experience mapping HKS FCON units.
