  1. I was on about listing the emission requirements, not my cars own emissions. For example: My 95 JDM TT was put in Test Class IV Fast Idle Test: Engine Speed: 2500-3000 Rpm CO: HC: [some icon that looks like an upside down "Y"] 0.970 - 1.030 Natural Idle Test: Engine Speed: 450-1500 Rpm CO: Say if you only have 1 cat in, you could take it to a garage to test the emissions before you go for your MOT to see if it meets the requirements above. Just a thought anyway.
  2. Would it be an idea to have an FAQ listing the known MOT emission requirements for various models of Supra's so that owners can pre-mot test their emissions to see if they need to re-cat, or replace a cat, etc to pass their MOT? Having just passed the MOT this morning I have the emissions info for a 95 JDM TT.
  3. This could be a hijacked account looking at the items this ebayer has recently bought (cosmetics). Hijacked accounts usually ask for contact to be made via email outside of ebay. Anyone who falls for this deserves to be stung IMO.

    supes and lads

    If you do get him a Soop, leave the speed limiter enabled. Personally I wouldnt as he's too young IMO, theres more peer pressure from mates to show off when your that age.
  5. Paul, not all composite bonnets require pins. It depends how they are made. Some bonnets are made with captive bolts so you can use the stock mounting brackets and bonnet catch. Given the speed that Supra's can reach, it is probably wise to use bonnet pins though I doubt many composite bonnets out there can beat the weight of the stock one. A pre-preg (vac formed) CF bonnet would have the best chance of saving weight, it would also reduce the weight of your mates wallet as it would cost quite a bit lol.

    Wind Deflectors

    Not sure about traders, but you can try JezzyBabes, he may have some Supra's in for breaking that have a pair.
  7. Im considering a Sony 3LCD after seeing this explanation: :: http://www.sony.co.uk/view/ShowArticle.action?section=en_GB_Products&article=1144943024227&productcategory=%2FTV+Projector%2FTVP+Rear+Projection+TV&site=odw_en_GB
  8. Was listening to the Radio 5 Live today @ work, they said he was conscious and stable but still in ICU.
  9. Dash > What type of forum software are you using?....is it PHPBB by any chance? Im a mod for a gaming clan and we use PHPBB, we had loads of spam accounts registered, and even the odd post by a spam account and that was with a visual confirmation code! To tackle this I did the following to the PHPBB board: :: Only logged-in members can view the MEMBERLIST (makes it useless to search engines) :: Logged IP addresses of all new registrations (so I can ban them if I want) :: Removed the WEBSITE field from the registration form, and automatically BAN anyone who submits this information (ie: a bot) Since then we havent had a single spam account.
  10. Im not defending The Sun, but Sky News are saying the car is theoretically capable of 370mph. Hope he's ok and makes a fully recovery.
  11. I fully agree, they should be shot. I was in a taxi with 3 work colleagues in London a couple of years ago. We nearly got wiped out by 2 gumballers jumping a red light blatently late....fucking wankers the lot of em.
  12. Yeah, check this out....Mech Warrior anyone? :: http://youtube.com/watch?v=lL7QnCAmcWQ&mode=related&search=
  13. Theres a 'to do' list on the drivers door
  14. It doesnt look big enough to be the type of plane claimed to have crashed into the building.
  15. Another good interview vid: :: http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=3121966862206975117 Top Bloke!
  16. Heres an interview with him on the Late Night Show, its really funny at the end: :: http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=-5434155810527278575
  17. Is this any good?...or are you referring to the wires going into the actual probe? I've completely unplugged my lead as I didnt fancy tying it up underneath the car. I dont get the MIL light on either (the MIL light is working). I think cars upto 95 have an OBD I ECU, and only 96+ cars with OBD II ECU's activate the MIL light when this sensor is unplugged. When I have to MOT my car, Im putting 2nd cat in with a blanking plate where the sensor goes so I dont have to re-install it.
  18. Its a Bernard Manning joke from years ago, modified for Steve Irwin.
  19. Ive had it test me in the wet coming off a roundabout with a petrol station next to it (no doubt some diesel on the road for good measure too)....absolutely shit myself lol, thankfully my experience of Collin McRaes Rally on the PC came to hand and I recovered it - and just about saved my underwear too! I drive like a nun in the wet now.
  20. lmao @ dogs balls Thanks Tom, the reason I asked is that I saw this pic over @ mkivstore: :: http://www.mkivstore.com/images/detailed_images/dragger2.jpg The exhaust pipe going towards the engine looks a little low there for my liking (my current HKS Hypermax sits pretty close to the underside of the car). Is this how it looks on Lee's/Burt's car? If not them Im more interested than I was before Cheers Simon
  21. Couple Q's Burt: :: Whats the ground clearance like? :: Does it sound nice? (ie: not raspy) :: Is the noise level reasonable? (ie: not wake up the neighbours noisy) :: Is it mild or stainless steel? I currently have a HKS Hypermax (came with the car) which sounds nice without being too noisy (doesnt hum you to death on the motorways). Sadly I've just noticed that the baffle has rotted out so wont be long till all the wadding starts to spew out giving my backbox a beard I may be interested Cheers Simon
  22. I've got Peters Supra's Twin
  23. Out of curiousity, how much are hybrid jspec tubbies? (rough approximation)
