  1. I think leave it 'as is' or part spray it. There was someone on these forums a good while back who made their own version of this bonnet, and they were spraying it silver and leaving the vents in carbon - its looked the dogs nuts!
  2. Just been for a blast since removing my HKS FCON V (silver) that came with my car and installing a TRL VFCC, I wouldnt say it was that cold outside so not sure if intake temps had anything to do with it, but the car seemed faster and smoother than before. The #2 turbo seemed to come on earlier and it was happily sitting at 1.2 bar through the gears. Needless to say, Im chuffed to nuts! Shame my insurance wont give me a discount for removing the FCON though ...its gunna cost me close to £15 to modify my policy to remove it from the modifications lol.

    Bugatti Supra

oh dear - could someone please throw acid in my eyes.
  4. Thinners is rather good at removing the resin from the brush.
  5. Some of the wiring in my JDM supra was dodgy. Apparently the Japs like to use 2 methods for fitting gadgets to cars: :: Scotch Clips (which sometimes sever the wire completely), and :: twisting the wires around each other (sometimes without insulation!) Thankfully the company who fitted my alarm and stereo sorted it all out by soldering the splices so there was no chance of them coming apart and causing havoc/setting fire to my car
  6. This looks nice: TAMIYA ESSO ULTRAFLOW SUPRA: :: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-TAMIYA-ESSO-ULTRAFLOW-SUPRA-HOP-UPS_W0QQitemZ120074078626QQihZ002QQcategoryZ2565QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem ...bit pricey though for a toy IMO. Im not the seller, nor do I know them.
  7. Im BPU with no kittens, walbro pump and Superdrager exhaust - can't hear the fuel pump (as mentioned earlier), probably due to exhaust - but I dont find the Superdrager with double-decat to be too noisy. Its not scare-the-kids loud when tootling about, doesnt hum you to death on the motorway, but it does strip paint from walls when giving it death on WOT (the only time you want it noisy)
  8. I didnt notice any noise increase having upgraded from a stock j-spec pump to a walbro one.
  9. If your paying someone to do it, make sure they're capable of producing a website that is both standards compliant and accessible (DDA applies to websites too!). Dont go for a layout controlled by frames or tables, use CSS. Search engines like keywords placed in certain sections of code, a standards compliant and accessible website should achieve this by default. Then get your website listed on http://www.dmoz.org as most search engines use its database anyway.
  10. Nice looking example - and low mileage.
  11. Dont 350z's have a problem with tyre life due to their suspension set up?
  12. People think XP firewall is poor because it only filters INCOMING traffic, not OUTGOING. Search for "XP Firewall" on this page: http://mywebpages.comcast.net/SupportCD/XPMyths.html
  13. You know when you have a serious problem when you actually play it seriously in real life! :: ...lightning bolt * lightning bolt * lightning bolt... LMAO...and LOL at the smacktard who claps at the very end
  14. You'll also need to ensure that your FMIC is ducted properly to ensure airflow is directed through your FMIC, and not around it to maximise performance.
  15. Its big because it has some cool animated tests
  16. Its worth watching the 2nd one to see the car with the 24 speed box on it, he hits 80mph when he shifts into 17th gear (in the scene were they tag-team race cars for pink slips). I wonder what the yanks thought of this when they saw it?...."holy shit - 80mph on a road in america!! ...crazy bar-stewards" (que old retired sheriff in grey leather jacket presenting 'worlds most amazing police chases')
  17. I'll add it to my list of: :: All Zorro movies :: Brother Grimm (it really is grim!) :: Son of Dragon (did any other poor soul watch that shit on sky lately?)
  18. Envy sell it and deliver to your door You'll need 2 of them (each one contains 5L of pre-mixed coolant).
  19. Having played GTR2 on the PC lately, I went back to NFS:MW and just couldnt control my bloody cars lol. Im #3 on blacklist...so its harder escaping the cops....now even more harder since I havent played it for a while and have to relearn how to drive my cars - doh! PS: If you want a good simulation - GTR 2 rocks! (works great with Logitech G25 Racing Wheel and pedals)

    Boost Gauge

I bought a Blitz MD Gauge from Nic - its bloody gorgeous ...but there is no dim feature like some gauges. That reminds me, must take some pics for Nic
  21. Just re-mortgage your house and buy one of these systems: http://www.beastcomputers.co.uk/ Kicks alienwares arse
  22. With regards to increasing system memory, I've noticed huge improvements in the time taken to load levels on the likes of FarCry, F.E.A.R, BF2, COD2, Half-Life 2 and GTR2. Its also reduced the amount of stuttering within games (such as HL2). If your using XP, you can tweak it with "Tweak XP" to squeeze more performance out of it. With regards to CPU's, the Intel dual-cores are better for gaming, but being Intel they are more expensive too. I've used Crucial memory before, never had any fail on me, and they deliver for free in the UK
