  1. I have a Blitz MD Oil Temp gauge in my car, the sensor for mine is in the sump plug. I replaced the stock sump plug with a tapped 1/8"NPT Female to M12*1.25 Male. It cost me £5.99 from LMA Group (Part No: LMA086). :: http://www.lma-group.com/motorsport/Products/Gauge_Fitting_Parts/gauge_fitting_parts.html
  2. He wouldnt be hard if he didnt have the beard of steel!
  3. Bit late now even if there is a preservation order on them
  4. He's either brave or stupid going for a ride in that car with them wheel spacers!
  5. Whilst not located in Liverpool, Tyrecare (St.Helens) may be able to do it for you. I'd give them a ring first though or else it would be a wasted journey. They're only 5 mins from the East Lancs @ Windle Island. :: http://www.tyrecaresthelens.co.uk
  6. I used to like Norton Internet Security 2004/2005 versions, but 2006 version was slow, consumed lots of resources, caused problems like the ones you mention, and I was fed up of having to reboot my computer after a LiveUpdate to find something wasnt installed, or was corrupted which required reinstall the b*stard thing again and going through all the updated again. I've now been using F-Secure for over a year and Im very pleased with it. The spam email filters are very good.
  7. I believe this is the same bumper. Looks like a modded stocker (the carbon black lip is blended into the bumper, its not a bolt on. :: http://www.maxracing.co.jp/contents/products/aero/aero_2007.html :: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=66976&highlight=maxracing
  8. I dont see why not mate. Currently the only 'bling' options available are: :: OEM Abflug ones @ great cost :: Sprayed OEM ones Im sure another alternative would be welcome. The cost of making a prototype to show members should be minimal if you do it in GRP to start with.
  9. I would see what boost you reach with a 2nd decat, restrictor ring and fuel cut defender (can recommend the Thor VFCC) before splashing out on a boost controller. You may find a boost controller is not required to see 1.2 bar on your Jspec. My car came with a boost controller but its zero'd out and always left switched off as I see 1.2bar already on my JDM tubbies.
  10. Looking good Gaz It may be worth while getting some black spray paint and spraying the outer edge of the inner lens (maybe 1/2 inch-ish) to hide the sealant you use to bond them on.
  11. If you can get hold of some, the 9-spoke Lexus GS300 Sport (Mk1) are a good contender (pics in my garage).

    Fairford Airshow

I remember seeing the Vulcan at an airshow when I was younger, it was by far the noisiest plane I've ever heard.
  13. You'd be suprised how much the glass in a car weighs, and its a weight high up on the car. Replace the glass with polycarbonate and you'll save on weight and lower (albeit a little) the cars center of gravity (since there is less weight up top).
  14. Hard to say from the pic on the website, but one of my concerns would be how tight it fits to the underside of the car, as you wouldnt want it acting as an air brake @ serious leps and rip itself off.
  15. Jamie, do you print money for a living?
  16. Yes, Im pretty sure someone posted that on these very forums. It suprised me at the time as I used to race the police off the lights upto the speed limit in my old Corolla Gti...they never pulled me though (no doubt they were too busy laughing at the prick in the Corolla lol).
  17. Im sure Ive read somewhere on this forum that the police can do you for accelerating too fast even if you dont break the speed limit and have control of the car (ie: no wheel spinning and arse waggling down the road).
  18. Red JSpec (assuming its JSpec as it had plastic looking lenses), aftermarket front bumper with some artwork down the side, gold alloys. Saw it parked up at Wilmere Lane Widnes today where I was playing footy. Looked nice
  19. The only regret I have about going BPU are the fuel bills, they come in a lot more often now
  20. You may find that you dont need a boost controller on a JDM Supra when you have a double-decat (DD) and RR, most will boost to 1.2 bar without any need for a boost controller. I have a boost controller on my JDM TT, but its never used as the DD and RR was enough for me to see 1.2 bar.

    wind deflectors

Also JezzyBabes may be able to supply second hand ones, though they'd need some cleaning up first.

  23. What part of it isnt connected up?....the gauge end or the sensor end? You have 2 options that I know of for the location of the sensor: :: Sandwich plate between the engine block and oil filter. :: Sump plug With regards to the sump plug option, you'll probably need a 1/8"NPT Female to M12*1.25 Male, but best check to be sure. I have one of the above on my car (95 JDM TT) and it cost £5.99 from LMA Group (Part No: LMA086). This thread may prove useful: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=97564
  24. Out of curiousity, what is deemed the minimum oil temp before your 'ok' to go WOT?
