  1. Hi Ho, Was just curious if anyone has recently had a quote or better yet a renewal from Lancaster Insurance, and if so has your quote gone up quite a bit? I'd have hoped that being a year older (hit the big 30!) and having another years NCB with a limited mileage classic policy would result in a similar price (if not better) than last renewal, not an increase of over £150! I was paying less when I first bought the Supra over 2 years ago - with 0 NCB and more mods than I currently have now! Needless to say Im window shopping for insurance at the moment. Like I said, Im just curious to know if anyone else has experience something similar with Lancaster Insurance recently.
  2. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1998-VAUXHALL-ASTRA-LS-16V-SILVER_W0QQitemZ130165413431 The reserve wasnt met for some reason - nows the time to dive in with an offer!
  3. I got HL2:ET free with my graphics card (same with HL2:EO) and I think it is a great game, but ET seems a lot shorter than EO. Only took me a couple days to finish, and Im deffo no gaming god I did find an easter egg though - a garden gnome!
  4. Also be weary with painted floors that are wet - slippy as hell!

  6. Paddy says to Mick "Can you help me with this jigaws puzzle, its meant to be a tiger" ... Mick says "Put the f*cking frosties back in the box you thick b*astard"
  7. Just look at the drivers sun visors - if it has english writing on it then its a UK Spec, if the writing is Japanese - its a JSpec. (Unless someone can prove otherwise)
  8. If you saw him, you'd know that option has been ruled out already Cheers again everyone
  9. Cheers chaps, I wouldnt be removing the wiring as such, just unplugging the sensor (and storing it somewhere) and removing the plug from the back of the gauge so no power goes to it (since the sensor isnt plugged in).
  10. Looks nice mate, but you may want to look into TTE center caps instead of the Lexus ones, makes the wheels look loads better.
  11. Hi Ho, My MOT is looming this week. I have BPU supra with double de-cat. I have an AEM Wideband gauge and its sensor is located in one of the decat pipes. I have a Super Drager (SD) exhaust and have to put both cats back in for the SD to fit properly. Since Im not a fan of having sensors 'tied up out the way' under the car I am therefore thinking of unplugging the AEM Wideband sensor from the loom and also unplugging the loom from back of the AEM gauge (the gauge is standalone, not connected to an ECU). Any thoughts on this? What do you other AEM users do? Cheers Si
  12. I got this free with my graphics card (though my graphics card did cost £240!).
  13. Unless you look like a 12 year old boy he'll turn you down.
  14. I downloaded the demo and was disappointed I don't own a time machine to stop myself from downloading the demo! Over-Hyped-Crap in my opinion.
  15. I think the remote engine starting feature nullifies its Cat 1 alarm status as far as insurance companies go. May be worth checking with your insurance company first to see if its worth it.
  16. Cut off one of your ears and frame it, then give it to her and tell her you love her, but if she cheats on you, you won't be responsible for your actions....that'll put the 'im dating a crazy guy' sh*ts up her ..she'll be like a nun then
  17. (MD Guage) Orange requires a permanent live, is the clock 'light' wire a permanent live?
  18. Just recieved an email from petrolprices.com about a 'vote' they're doing on the 2.35 pence per litre fuel tax increase that is coming into force at the start of next week. You can vote here if your bothered: :: http://www.petrolprices.com/blog/we-cant-take-another-p-now-82.html
  19. I was also on the M6 today around that time, between J27-J23 but no UK bonnet.
  20. Very nice 240z here: :: http://www.motorpasion.com/2006/12/29-datsun-z-car-asi-se-prepara-un-datsun-240z
  21. I agree with Mr Nintendo. Video games in general are not bad/evil. They help to develop eye-hand co-ordination, puzzle solving and communication skills. Im fed up of all the 'mary whitehouses' there are claiming otherwise, yes some mentally unstable nutters may have stabbed/mutilated/killed someone with ideas from a game, but thats down to the person having a lack of morals/common sense, and has nothing to do with a game. Its the same tossers in power that make the argument of games being evil that take away a parents/teachers/citizens right to chastise kids to teach them right from wrong. A computer game can be violent as hell, but can't be held responsible for the lack of discipline in a persons upbringing, or some mental issue they may have.

  24. Take the graphics card out and boot up, you should hear "beeeeeeeeeeep beep beep beep" (thats the usual graphics post error). If you dont get that (or any beeping), it aint your graphics card. A flat CMOS battery shouldnt stop it from booting, but they are cheap should you want to try that. Also, try booting up with just 1 RAM module in, if you get the same problem, replace the RAM module with another and try again. Just because you got new memory, doesnt mean its OK
