I'd like to see Kens scientific research to legally justify this 'emissions' tax. If a car passes the emissions test on a MOT as set by VOSA (the governing body of the MOT scheme) then how can he legally charge you an 'emissions' tax - especially if it isnt going to be enforced 24/7. Is he saying that HE knows better than VOSA and that pollution only occurs during the CZ charging times? If they (those w*nkers in goverment) want to reduce emissions - they should consult with VOSA on emissions testing in MOTs. We pay road tax to use the road, so why should Ken be able to charge you more for certain parts of it? Did you know that the black cabs produce more emissions (233g/km CO2) than most other vehicles on the road (such as the Porsche Boxter - 222g/km CO2), yet London is swarming with them and they are exempt from such taxation (god knows what the buses are pumping out).

Looking for a stock airfilter housing for my pre-facelift JDM TT (RZ). Must be in good nic with no broken latches. Delivered if possible, unless your local to St.Helens in which case I could collect. Cheers Simon

Stock gives better filtration plus it always has a cold air feed via 2 sources. Induction kits generally offer less filtration (more crap entering your engine), are more expensive to maintain (filters wise) and unless ducted to a cold air feed take in warm/hot air. Colder denser air gives more power and better mpg

Looks like it does apply to 'gas guzzling cars' which is basically highway robbery. http://motoring.sky.com/news_features/25-congestion-charge-confirmed.aspx A car has to pass an emissions test as part of an MOT. The MOT specifies what emissions are safe and know alot more about cars than Ken Livingstone, so how the hell can he legally charge you a fee based on emissions if your vehicles passes its MOT as set by the governing body for motor vehicles? Thank god I live up north. If anyone happens to see Kenny boy waiting for a train in the tube, please give him a friendly nudge on behalf of all motorists, preferably as the train is pulling in.

A good substitute for nails (incase your a biter) is a plastic card - like an old bank card or your MKIV Supra Membership card

On my way to footy today I saw you parked up near the shops at Walmesley Road (Eccleston) around 2pm waiting for your missus.

This is the first time in a while that CM has made me laugh. At work I generally swap between Radio 5 Live and Radio 1, though I only usually listen to Radio 1 after 10am once the 'ego' has left the building.

My car came with a piggy back ECU and fields harness, the fields harness allowed the piggy back ecu to be situated outside of the ECU kick plate - I just dont think it is possible to fit another ecu under there as there isnt enough room (not if you want the kick plate to seat properly).

Download and install a firefox extension called FireShot, it lets you take screen captures of websites rendered in FireFox (not just what you see on screen, but the whole page that isnt shown on screen). :: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5648 Its a really useful tool when trying to explain rendering issues to people. I have attached how it looks in my Firefox (2.0.0.11 on PC). From comparing the website in IE and Firefox Im assuming the problem in Firefox is that some of your content has 'leaked' outside of the white background. This is usually caused when a container element (ie: ) contains floated elements (ie: floated 's). If this is the case (bear in mind I havent looked at your html/css) then you need to insert a block element container (ie: ) below the floated content and set its CLEAR property to BOTH. For example: Some non-floated content. floated content

I was listening to this on Radio 5 Live yesterday, as a former chairman of shell he's probably spent his working life being driven around in a jag or bentley ...thats when he isnt jetting off to places. To increase my rage notch a bit more, they then mentioned some idiot who said that all motor vehicles that can do more than 80mph should be banned ...pretty much every car and bike then!

Can you not provide the dimensions and have one made by them? (or maybe start a group buy on them so they knock some money off creating a new one for you).

I dont have one, but I have seen their work upclose and it is of a high quality. I've done some composite work for a company just off J12 of the M6 and they basically maintain several race cars for clients. One of them is a beast of a car and that has quite a bit of RadTec kit on it (radiator, oil cooler, oil catch tank). Im going to be getting my SMIC from them when I come to change it.

I was under the impression that the SuperDrager II is now fully made out of SS, whereas the SuperDrager I was MS with a SS backbox. Im not sure if there is any difference in ground clearance or diameters, but I can confirm the SuperDrager I has a 28" backbox (a big bugger!). I could be wrong though.

Glad you sorted it - better to take your time than mess it up

I used something similar to this: http://i.ehow.com/images/GlobalPhoto/Articles/2001922/holesaw_Full.jpg First I covered the area to be cut out with masking tape (for a cleaner cut) then made sure I had my center point correct for the drill bit and drilled at a medium speed very carefully Edges where then tidied up with some sand paper.

Its a shame you admitted it was an NA, otherwise you could have wound the window down as you hoofed it down the street and shouted "whoooooosh" everytime you changed gear to imitate a BOV

Coppers can't win really, if your intial post was: ....we'd probably be banging on about the a-hole speeder and asking why the cops arent around to stop them. Its never nice being caught for anything (so the criminals tell me). If the cop was over-the-top on the a-hole scale then fair enough thats uncalled for, but your sister has herself to blame for putting herself in that situation by her actions.

Your NVP is still working despite the warnings but it wont be able to detect any new viruses released after your subscription ran out. Subscription is not mandatory, but recommended if you want to have the latest protection against the newest viruses, etc. Personally, I think Nortons is crap, I prefer F-Secure.

I meant colour wise Michael, and I wasnt trying to be offensive about it lol ...just noticed more of a difference on yours than I do on mine

XStandard is a good CMS, but is only useful if your website is coded to XHTML standards. Its good as its FREE, and it also produces valid XHTML code unlike some CMS's available. Valid code is a must if you want the website to render properly across browsers/platforms.

Hi Gordon, Its the PD 115 engine. I've found the engine to be rather good, considering the weight of the Alhambra the performance is suprisingly good. Apart from the turbo and aircon nothing has gone wrong and I've put over 30,000 on it in the last 3 years. I get just short of 600 on a full tank when Im doing motorway journeys. I'll keep an eye on the average MPG, not sure off the top of my head but its more than 35mpg pottering around town, etc. Will keep an eye on it tomorrow to confirm
