  1. It looks like those meddling unelected t*ssers in the EU are about to dish out some misery on car enthusiasts: http://www.the-ace.org.uk/loss-of-the-sva-test.html God I hate our Government (and the EU). This could do some serious damange to the kit car industry, not to mention after market tuners and other related businesses.
  2. Check your insurance documents - it is probably in the small print somewhere. If not, you could always make a complaint to the Financial Services Authority and see if you get anywhere with that.
  3. There are plenty, but you'd need a spare mint condition roof to make moulds from, and have deep pockets
  4. Still talking pub figures then If i won the lotto I'd buy the car and put it out of its misery - rip that kit off and return it to stock, selling the wheel spacers as a table base
  5. Is it this one? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=141369
  6. They're made by a company called Blue Flame Performance: http://www.blueflameperformance.com/
  7. You need to get yourselves one of these setups: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=862341&page=247 (couple posts down). Im going to have to start buying lotto tickets
  8. May be an idea to email RadTec with the stock SMIC dimensions and see if they can make one to match, or ask them if they're aware of the wheel arch liner issue with their SMIC for the Supra (I'd have thought they may have test fitted one at some point in the design phase).
  9. If your going to do a GB, it may be worth while getting a spare set of panels and having them made in the UK. I know a lot of Lancia and Alfa owners who have bought composite panels from the likes of Italy, Germany and Poland (to name a few) that have in most cases found the quality to be utter cr*p, which they either have to fork out more money getting them 'corrected' at a body shop or go through the hassle of shipping them back and getting a replacement set or refund. Im not saying the US ones are cr*p (they look really good in the pic), just pointing out the hassle of getting something 'delicate' from outside the UK that may be disappointing when you recieve it.
  10. They're both good makes - I have the AEM UEGO and Im happy with it (as a standalone, not wired into ECU), but I believe the Innovate is more responsive. Im sure someone with experience of both will come along shortly
  11. Probably further north than you'd care to travel, but there is Hyper Sports & Racing Ltd in Wigan
  12. If its a UV reaction in the resin there is nothing you can do, it will go milky over time. I would have said it may be your lacquer but if you mopped and polished it with no joy, then maybe not.

Did the government just slip a £24,000,001 'green' tax to air travel in their latest budget?....or does her daughter fly daily to the moon and back? I dont understand how she can complain, their daughter is never going to be short of anything (material/money wise) as Macca wouldnt let that happen. Its not like Mucca cant get another job during the rest of her life, so how can £24 million not be enough given the fact he probably would never have married her if he knew her past. Still, now she can buy herself a nice plane, and some veet for the other leg
  14. Could you PM me some more info please Nic? Cheers Simon
  15. Cheers Muffleman and Homer ...and sorry to hijack your thread daz 6576 Could you not salvage second hand ones? ...or would you happen to know of a place that would sell 'new/replacement' ecu connectors? I know of autosportwiring.com (US based) who offer complete fields harness for $275 (around £136) but doubt they're suitable for a JDM.
  16. I'd assume its private property unlike 'public' roads maintained by the local council, I therefore think you wont have any joy if you took the legal route, maybe the manager will offer to fix as a good will gesture, but Im sure you could get the bumper repaired and sprayed for less than £300 (your excess).
  17. Out of interest, how much are field harnesses and are they easy to make as an alternative to buying one?
  18. Any of you going to the Olympics may want to print off the following translation card and take it with you to help communicate with the Chinese people.
  19. Shannon Mathews has been found safe and well, her first words where "Have Newcastle won yet?" .... "f*ckoff" said the copper .... "you've only been missing a month!"

  21. Because as a nation we have failed to wipe out all politicians
  22. Yes. Awesome - I better get saving
  23. Does this mean you could get a pre-73 car (ie: 71 reg Datsun 240Z) and transplant a post-73 engine into it (ie: RB26DETT) and not pay road tax?
