  1. Im leaning towards a bodge as i cant believe toyota would use a scotch clip on what was an expensive car when launched. I have no idea what the blue/red wire is though.
  2. ...maybe this is useful: http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?p=1469697

  6. Hi all, Whilst removing an old boost controller from my Jspec Supra I noticed an odd looking blue clip on the loom above the pedals. The clip connects 1 blue/red wire from the loom plug attached to the steering column to 2 seperate blue/red wires that are part of the main loom that disappears up behind the dash. I'm well aware of the common loom-butchery the Japs tend to do when adding gadgets so Im trying to determine if this is OEM or a bodge. Can anyone confirm?
  7. Chris has just fitted his suspension to my Supra and he said it can be made adjustable if I wanted it - though there are limits. I previously had HKS Hypermax 2 coilovers which would point out every imperfection in the road. I've only done a couple hundred miles on the new setup but its put a big smile on my face compared to the previous setup.
  8. Dont local authorities now have the power to sell your house to pay for your care? I dont know the ins and outs, but my old man recently setup a "Home/Asset Protection Trust" with myself and my brother as beneficiaries so his house is protected should he go in to care. Worth looking in to maybe.

    Hi

Hi mate, welcome to the forum. You can find a guide on what to look for when buying a Supra here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=67644 If you pay a tenner and become a member you'll have access to the Supra Classifieds forum were you can see members cars for sale. Good Luck with your search. Your budget and your preference for an auto/manual/non-vvti/vvti will determine how many cars are likely to fit the bill for you.

On friday on radio 1 i heard a university student comment that she was gutted we voted to leave the EU because she wanted to visit friends in America! ...clearly not a geography student!

The younger generation seem to overlook the fact that the older generation knew life before the EU and they've spent a good chunk of their life in the EU. They have experienced both the good and the bad of EU membership, some of them would have voted for EU membership initially and may have changed their opinion based on their life experience of the EU. You cant ignore them on the basis that they're old and will retire/die soon. They're more patriotic than most of the younger generations. I've seen some ignorant comments from remainers saying the likes of "congrats old people, you've just ruined your pension", you know what, i think the older generation would do that happily if they believed it would be better in the longterm for their families - their generation made great sacrifices for this country.

Speaking of £675 million, thats the same amount lost to fraud in the EU during 2015: http://news.sky.com/story/1704623/675m-of-eu-budget-lost-to-fraud-in-2015 Heres an interesting article based on factual data as opposed to predictive forecasts: http://civitas.org.uk/2016/06/15/the-talking-heads-of-the-imf-and-oecd-support-remain-their-databases-dont/

Regarding Warsi switching camps, she never attended a single Leave meeting by all accounts so was she really in the leave camp to start with? Someone on twitter suggested she should stay in the leave camp and try to reform it

Money talks and we have more buying power than the EU as we import more than we export within the EU. I cant see them harming their own economies to spite us.

Bob Geldof, the man who shakes a bucket and sings songs for the starving kids in Africa ...wants to stay in the EU who are keeping African Farmers & Fishermen in poverty due to their trade rules and tariffs.
  17. Do you have to split the caliper halves to get the pistons out?

It could, but the difference is if we leave our government would be fully accountable and as such cant pass the buck. The public would have the power to change government come election time. At the moment it feels like we're voting for a middleman to act as the EU's UK mouthpiece.
