Sounds like a similar problem to what I had when I removed an Apexi Speed Meter gadget. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=92818&highlight=code Check that your No1 Speed Sensor Wire (the pink one - pin2 on the ecu I think) has no breaks in it.

All of the above only a couple weeks after being caught speeding @ 82mph in a construction zone. I thought we had stupid judges. Typical US attitude - sue sue sue. If their son is old enough to drive, he's old enough to be responsible and therefore liable for his own actions.

I think the AEM UEGO AFR gauge requires a 10amp source for the ignition live doesnt it? The Odometer loom has a 10amp ignition live you could use (atleast it is on my JSpec). The gromit TLicence refers to is on the passenger side of the transmission tunnel, roughly where the front of the seat is - half way up the tunnel (from the floor pan).

I used some fuel hose when I needed to replace some split piping, it had a reinforced lining and was the same diameter - and its worked fine since.
