  1. I've seen headlights with silicon bags taped inside, under the plastic inner so they're out of sight, not a clue if they worked as intended.
  2. The original lenses where injection moulded, so unless someone stumps up the cash for the tooling you'll never get them replicated exactly. You could try flatting the inside of the lense but it would be a bugger of a job and will still go yellow over time. Suprattgaz has provided an affordable alternative, though it does require some careful modification to the original lense, plus the issue Jamie mentioned (though you could use a black border around the edge of the lens to hide the silicon). Im in the process of doing myself some custom headlights, which will include a one-piece clear lense (with returns) and modified CF inners, I'll let you know how they come out once done, I did start on them yonks ago but got sidelined with other work.
  3. I'd sue the cat owner for not having it on a leash. Was this the cat?
  4. The Ati Radeon HD 2900XT can run it on max settings no problem. You have to factor in the CPU, amount/type of RAM and resolution your running it at though. There are plenty of cards out there now with better performance than the 2900XT, I think the Ati Radeon HD 3870 has equal if not better performance and its half the price of the 2900XT (when it was new).
  5. Yeah its too hot outside lol, so Im just going around spamming forums. Have sent payment - cheers
  6. You could delay your purchase, save up a little more and get the new ATI Radeon HD4870 cards which apparently wipe the floor with anything Nvidia G92 series has to offer.
  7. Still a work in progress, but looks promising (has the sounds of the Honda S2000 and the wrong cockpit):
  8. Pabs, would the air box fit a pre-facelift (95) JDM TT (not sure if there is a difference between pre-facelift and facelift versions) Are all the clips in fine working order? If so, I'll take it (I already have the air feeds)
  9. I have one of these on my BPU TT and it is nice, quiet when you want it, and loud enough to let people know your behind them on full boost (though not droney, so good for motorways!). Boring Fact: The backbox has a circumference of 28" lol!
  10. Whatever next? http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,91221-1317477,00.html
  11. Yeah, Im 'over it' now and it was a bit of an anti-climax
  12. There is no shortage of eye candy ...or pick pockets ...so watch your valuables!
  13. TBH I nearly didnt post myself lol, but didnt want to spend the rest of my days on this forum as a 'repost' virgin
  14. Re......post http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpost.php?p=1965270&postcount=80
  15. I've heard that in a bid to help motorists, Petrol Stations will now show porn when you fill up so you can see someone else getting shafted as well as yourself.
  16. Nice scenery Dan, I was up Helvellyn (Lake District) a couple weeks ago - calfs are still killing me!
  17. Josef Fritzl was once asked when he thought was the best time to tell your kids about the birds and the bee's, he replied "best to keep them in the dark for as long as possible"
  18. You can get abrasion resistant coatings for added durability and resistance to scratching.
  19. 'dodgy' people would just invest in good encryption so its a pointless idea. But in answer to the original question - Yes we are already in a big brother state, you can't go anywhere without being seen somewhere on CCTV.
  20. News Flash: All sperm banks in Manchester and London will be closed tomorrow as all the w*nkers are in Moscow
  21. Burma refused aid at first, then let a couple planes land, then impounded those planes so the aid boxes could have logo/image of the military junta placed over the aid organisation logo in an attempt to make the Burmese population believe the aid was coming from their own rulers. The Burmese leader spent £25 million (or there abouts) on his daughters wedding yet only stumped up £2.5 million in aid for his people (Gordon Brown has given them £17 million in aid, god knows what other countries have chucked into the pot). Atleast China reacted quicker, shame their buildings are so poorly designed and collapsed, not sure whether its poor standards or dodgy builders...or a combo of both. The Burnese suffer through poor/corrupt leadership, the Chinese suffered through poor buildings, terrible hearing about all the kids trapped in collapsed school buildings, especially when lots of them where new buildings.
  22. http://www.telecable.es/personales/diegorh/dinoblog/jpop/hinoidancin.jpg They're all gorgeous (apart from the podgy bloke in the thong)
  23. ...produce awesome cars like the Supra & Skyline whilst at the same time churning out stuff like this: PS: Please dont ask me what I was searching for to find the above video, I cant remember, but it certainly wasnt 'man in glittered thong'!
  24. So you've checked your No.1 speed sensor wire and its fine? The pink wire in your pic seems to have several 'scotch locks' along the wire, one of them may have gone through too far and could be causing the problem (hence its better to solder wires than use scotch locks). ^ thats all I have to offer - good luck finding the cause.
