  1. I would say repost but I respect Mr Wilson too much
  2. Can anyone confirm if the part numbers for the 2 PCV hoses shown in the images below are correct? :: 12263-46010 :: 12264-46010 The ones on my car need replacing as they have gone hard and brittle. Also, are these hoses identical on UK/JDM TT cars? Cheers Simon
  3. *bump* I think I have a lean burn issue - my car hasnt been driven in the last 2 weeks so took it for a spin today, normal residential driving, then onto a dual carriageway for a little 1.1bar blast upto 80 leps then back down to normal leppage and back onto normal residential roads and called off at a mates house. Mate wasnt in, so back in the car, start it and its idling very low with my AFR showing lean off the gauge. Rev the engine and the AFR shows it going rich but back to off scale (lean) on idle around 300rpm. Drove home off boost via residential roads, car seemed to drive fine so wasnt sure if my AFR sensor was buggered, but with it idling so low I thought maybe a plug issue or worse - my walbro has developed a fault. Waiting for it to cool down now so I can whip the plugs out and check them (theyre either IK22's or IK24's I think)...
  4. "Ok officer, I'll go stab the driver of the other car now then, when can I expect your colleagues to turn up?"
  5. News Flash: The police raided Gary Glitters home, they found Class A drugs in the lounge, Class B drugs in the kitchen and the whole of class 4C in the bedroom!
  6. I hear Gary Glitter is to be sent to Bejing to represent Great Britain in the under 12's breast stroke.

    carbon weave

IMO its not suitable for a bonnet. With its high weight and thicker strands, it will be more difficult to lay up than a lighter weight CF weave. If you have a local supplier you're best nipping in to have a look at their stock and have a chat with them so you can determine what effect your after weave-wise. Personally I'd be looking @ 3k, the type of twill is down to personal preference.
  8. Have you tried TLS? http://www.tls.co.uk
  9. Is it one of these: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=117520&highlight=apexi+style+induction+kit ?
  10. I've never had to do it mate so couldnt recommend anything off the top of my head, when I make stuff its laid up in a mold using resins. CF wont hold up well to stone chips which the underside of the splitter/undertray combo would be subject to. When I've made stuff for rally cars like sump guards, we use Kevlar as it is more durable than CF. When it comes to functional splitters, we have a product that is used to make signs (its name escapes me), its light, about 3mm thick, stiff and available in a range of colours. If your after functionality more than aesthetics I could PM some info if you like.
  11. Greg, have you been to see a physiotherapist yet? You'd be suprised how much a nerve in one part of the body can influence the sensation of pain in other parts. I went to a physio in St.Helens to have the root cause of my shin splints diagnosed, the physio checked my posture, my back, and then some nerve points throughout my body as she said it may be a problem elsewhere that is causing the problems in my legs. Anyhow, in my case the problem was with out-of-balance muscle strength and movement sequence in my legs. I had a successful diagnosis and no longer get shin splints after doing the recommended exercises. May be worth looking into, you're looking about £30 for an half hour session on average.
  12. Maybe one of our members from Leeds would be kind enough to pop in and take one?
  13. Sadly no The Movie exhibition is well worth a visit, however they dont allow pictures to be taken, though Im sure you could always sneak a couple if no staff are around. The LOTR character I have a picture of wasnt in the main movie exhibit, he's in the main hall as you walk in to the building.
  14. Last week I had a job on Leeds for a couple nights, so to kill time during the day I went to the Royal Armouries. Its FREE to get in and will entertain all ages, I was really impressed with it. There is currently an exhibit of arms from famous movies, such as Lords of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion, the witch and the wardrobe, King Kong, Hellboy and the Last Samurai. There is also daily shows, such as jousting, sword fighting, etc. Thought I'd mention it should any of you want a nice day out with the family, or just if your keen on your armouries To top it off, I then went to T.G.I Fridays in Leeds and fell in love with the waitress Julia - she's lovely....and so is the chocolate fudge fixation http://www.royalarmouries.org/visit-us/leeds
  15. Stay clear of Belkin - they're crap.
  16. If your bored at work: http://magic.pen.fizzlebot.com/ Im on Level 10 and its rock hard
  17. Theres nothing like a group of birds with a fetish for face paint dancing between some flares to get a mans pulse racing! Its a shame the Supra has the rear comedy seats otherwise you could have offered a couple of them a lift home
  18. Scary - the missing numbers where 313
  19. Saw you tonight around 22:20pm on the Rainford Bypass heading towards St.Helens, lost sight of you going through the lights at Windle Island (you werent hanging about lol). Nice looking car Anyone here?
  20. Some interesting posts on vent design here: http://www.eng-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=61524&page=10
  21. I think they're mostly for bling rather than true effect. As mentioned previously, one was ripped off at a trackday as it was no doubt acting as an air brake at serious speed. On another note, I think you'll have some clearance issues on speed humps with some of the ones posted (like the 1st pic in this thread).
  22. To center a block element with a fixed width, you can set the left and right margins to auto, for example: div.center { width: 700px; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; } content... Alternatively, if the block element is contained within another element, then you can use the text-align property. div.container { text-align: center; } Centered DIV with content... On another note, if your not using any XML data sources to generate content, you could switch from XHTML Strict to HTML 4.01 Strict. If you stay with XHTML, any embedded scripts in your pages should be placed within [CDATA] tags. Ideally from a maintenance point of view you would place all scripts in one file and reference it externally via script tags: See http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum91/121.htm for more info. You may also want to check this out also: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.inlinephotography.co.uk%2F&charset=(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline&group=0 Good luck with it, its coming along well
